Grace Richardson Flies the Flag for England at the 75th Miss World in Vietnam
6 days ago
Performing arts graduate and the reigning Miss World England Grace Richardson is currently enjoying the experience of a lifetime as she proudly represents England at the 75th Miss World Festival in Vietnam.
After arriving in Hanoi following a comfortable long-haul flight with Vietnam Airlines, Grace’s feet have barely touched the ground! Since landing, she has been immersed in a packed Miss World schedule alongside more than 100 contestants from around the globe.
Highlights So Far…
One of Grace’s first major appearances was the spectacular Miss World Opening Ceremony, where contestants celebrated Vietnamese culture by taking to the catwalk wearing Vietnam’s beautiful traditional Áo dài.
Grace walked alongside Miss Denmark, marking one of her first international catwalk appearances as Miss World England.
Since then, the contestants have been busy sightseeing exploring the world heritage sight such as Ha long bay , attending official various events, rehearsing and experiencing the culture and hospitality of Vietnam — while forming lifelong friendships with women representing countries from across the world.

Another highlight for Grace was attending the OMODA & JAECOO launch party in Vietnam, where she had the opportunity to model and pose alongside some of the brands’ latest cars. Here she is with Miss ireland posing with their latest models during the party ! Omoda and Jaecoo are distinct sister brands sharing underlying technology and platforms while targeting different aesthetic preferences and market segment.
Taking to the Catwalk in Vietnam
On the 18th August , Grace competed in the highly anticipated Miss World Top Model round, modelling stunning creations by Vietnamese designers.
The fashion event provided another opportunity for Grace to showcase her catwalk skills, with the spectacular Dragon Square providing a stunning backdrop for the Vietnamese fashion showcase.

Grace is no stranger to the runway, having modelled professionally before winning Miss England, but representing her country on an international Miss World catwalk has made the experience particularly special.
Between appearances, events and rehearsals, Grace is sharing the adventure with her roommate, Miss Ireland, Caoimhe Kenny, with the pair making some incredible memories together during their time in Vietnam.

The Best Is Yet to Come…
There is still plenty more to come for Grace.
One round she is particularly excited about is Miss World Talent, where multitalented Grace will now be showcasing her singing.
Talent played an important part in Grace’s own Miss England journey. She won the Miss England Talent round with her performance of “Never Enough”, helping her on her way to being crowned Miss England.
Now, following her graduation in Performing Arts, Grace is looking forward to performing again — this time representing England on the Miss World stage.
Grace is also excited about the forthcoming Sports round, which she says has “a little twist to it this year”, as well as the Head-to-Head round, where she will have the opportunity to share more about her Beauty With a Purpose project, Every Drop Counts.

Grace’s Beauty with a Purpose project focuses on raising awareness of water conservation and the impact our everyday choices — including fashion — can have on the world’s precious water resources.
Beauty With a Purpose has been at the heart of Miss World for decades, and Grace is hoping to use this incredible international platform to take the message behind Every Drop Counts to an even wider audience.
Grace on Her Miss World Experience
Grace said:
“I have loved absolutely every moment so far in Vietnam. The country and its people are beautiful inside and out; I couldn’t have asked for a better host country.
I am really looking forward to the talent round and am excited to perform again since my graduation! I am also looking forward to the sports round, which has a little twist to it this year, and Head-to-Head, where I will be able to share more about my BWAP project with everyone here!
Overall, this has been an experience of a lifetime and I will forever cherish these memories.”
Thank You to Grace’s Supporters

A special thank you goes to Seasonal Trunk for providing some of the fabulous outfits Grace has been wearing during her Miss World journey, and to Vietnam Airlines for helping Grace begin her adventure with a comfortable journey to Vietnam.
With plenty more events, rehearsals and competition rounds still ahead, Grace’s 75th Miss World story is far from over.
Good luck, Grace — England is behind you!

Miss Liverpool’s Mission: Inspiring Young Girls to Embrace Natural Beauty & Confidence after taking to the Miss England final stage Make up Free
9 months ago
Press release December 2025
After winning the Miss England Bare Face Top Model award and securing a three-month influencer contract with award-winning natural skincare brand SpaVed, Miss Liverpool Paige Loren is determined to use her new platform to spark positive change among young girls across the UK browsing social media.

Paige, who finished 8th overall in the national final, hopes her win will encourage the next generation to feel confident in their natural skin and be more confident about posting natural images of themselves instead of using filters and wearing too much make up.
“I have young cousins who lookup to me. Even Lottie my 7 year old niece but knows all about fillers, make up & filters on social media. I want to try and change the narrative, and I believe it starts with social media. Young girls should feel empowered to go make up free and post realistic images and accept themselves for who they are,” Paige said.
A Brave Bare-Face Moment at Miss England
When arriving at the Miss England finals held last month at the Grand Station Wolverhampton, Paige admitted she doubted her decision to compete completely make-up-free—especially when surrounded by contestants getting professionally glammed up.
“I did worry if I’d done the right thing when I saw everyone getting their makeup done. But once I walked out on the main stage make-up-free, I felt free. It was empowering as the judges saw the real me.”
Her bold choice paid off. The judges recognised her authenticity, awarding her the Bare Face Top Model title, a round which celebrates natural beauty and confidence from within.
A Model with International Experience
Paige is a part-time model and nail technician, is no stranger to the international stage, having proudly represented England and the UK at Top Model of the World in Egypt and Miss Charm in Vietnam. But this time, she wanted to stand for something different:

“I wanted to be a natural beauty at Miss England, and I’m thrilled it paid off. I might not have won the Miss England title, but being this year’s Bare Face winner means so much to me. If I help even one young girl feel more confident in her natural skin, I’ll have fulfilled my aim.”
About SpaVed – Award-Winning Natural Skincare
As part of her prize, Paige gets a collection of SpaVed Skincare & will collaborate with SpaVed, on social media , an award-winning British natural skincare company known for its gentle, effective formulations created with plant-powered ingredients.
Kamini Kapoor , founder of the SpaVed brand said
” At SpaVed, we recognise how significantly beauty expectations can influence confidence, especially for young people navigating an age of filtered imagery and comparison. The Bare Face Top Model initiative offers an important and refreshing counterbalance by highlighting authenticity and natural skin without added layers or perfection.
This year’s round brought meaningful attention to that message. Paige’s choice to compete make-up-free brought a clear focus back to natural skin and honesty on a national stage. Her participation aligns closely with the values behind this collaboration, and we are pleased to support a platform that encourages open, genuine conversations around beauty.
For SpaVed, this partnership extends beyond providing skincare; it reflects our core belief that beauty should feel accessible, honest and free from pressure. Working alongside Miss England allows us to contribute to a movement that promotes a kinder, more balanced understanding of what it means to feel comfortable in one’s own skin.”

Miss England Hosts Make-Up Free Auditions in the Midlands to Celebrate Natural Beauty
1 year ago
Wolverhampton, UK –
Miss England is calling for aspiring beauty queens from across the Midlands to enter the next phase of the competition –
make-up free.
If you live, work or study in the Midlands, are aged between 16–27, and want to be part of the prestigious Miss England competition, don’t miss your chance to attend the make-up free auditions at Grand Station, Wolverhampton on 7th September.

To apply, simply send a recent snapshot of yourself — ideally make-up free or wearing minimal make-up — to [email protected] or complete the application form at www.missengland.info.
Selected applicants will be invited to audition for the next Miss England Championships, with the semi-final scheduled for October. Contestants will also have the chance to be crowned with a regional title representing their area.
“We feel it’s so important to promote natural beauty amongst women, especially on social media,” said Angie Beasley, Miss England Director since 2002.
Angie introduced the make-up free round in 2019 after noticing a rise in heavily filtered and overly made-up images, with some contestants looking unrecognisable in person.
A special presentation will take place at 2pm on the day of the auditions to encourage attendees to embrace their natural selves and build confidence from within.
Guest speakers include Afrose Ameen, last year’s Bare Face Award winner and a law student from London, who will share her inspiring journey of self-acceptance & Angie Beasley founder of the round from Miss England.
