3 North West Beauty Awards Winners Crowned Ahead of Miss England 2026 Final

Three contestants are celebrating after securing places in the Miss England 2026 Grand Final following the North West Beauty Awards, a regional qualifier for the national competition.

Tabitha Bennett, Tara Sampson and Paige Loren Cannon James were announced as the three winners following a digital competition which invited contestants to submit photographs and videos for judging, take part in the public vote and support Maggie’s Wirral through their fundraising efforts.

The winners were brought together at MediaCity, Manchester, for a special presentation and photoshoot before preparing for the next stage of their Miss England journeys.

Tabitha raises over £3,000 for Maggie’s Wirral

Tabitha Bennett has become the North West Top Fundraiser and the new Miss Cheshire!

Tabitha Bennett a fashion student from Cheshire earned her place in the national final after being named North West Top Fundraiser, raising an impressive £3,044.10 for Maggie’s Wirral and won the Miss Cheshire title!

Tabitha raised the money by pre-selling tickets for her forthcoming Lunch With A Purpose charity event and will now represent her home county of Cheshire at the Miss England Final.

Her latest fundraising success continues her strong commitment to the charity and to the competition’s Beauty With a Purpose ethos.

Police officer Tara crowned Miss Manchester

Tara Sampson was crowned the new Miss Manchester and will also progress directly to the Miss England Final.

The Greater Manchester Police officer, Tara lives in Chorley and entered the competition with no previous pageant experience.

As part of her fundraising efforts, she took on a skydive and raised an impressive £880 for Maggie’s Wirral, combining her first experience of competing in a pageant with a personal charity challenge. Tara embarked on her first sky dive the day before the North West presentation and said she enjoyed the fundraising challenge as it was the first time she has ever done anything like it before !

Paige wins the People’s Choice public vote

Paige Loren Cannon James represented Liverpool in Miss England 2025 and won the national make up free award for competing in the Miss England 2025 final make up free!

The third  winner in the national final went to Paige Loren Cannon James, of Liverpool who works as a nail technician . Paige secured the People’s Choice Award through the North West public vote.

Paige previously represented Liverpool in Miss England 2025 and returned to the competition this year. She has already raised £200 for Maggie’s Wirral, with her own charity event still to take place.

A new digital format for the North West Beauty Awards

The North West Beauty Awards marked a new approach for the competition, with the initial judging conducted digitally through contestant photographs and video submissions.

The judging panel included Tracyann Okezie of Oshi Organics, who kindly gifted all the contestants with products from her company and  photographer David Dresser, and long-standing Miss England choreographer and qualified drama coach Lisa Powell.

The winners also received gifts from Aftershock London, including clutch bags, while contestants attending the presentation received gifts from Oshi Organics and Flava Spritz and a scholarship with JRP Virtual including ; 

• Peoples Choice winner –  a full 5-week Agency Auditioning Basics scholarship (public speaking, presence, and on-camera interview prep with our LA actor coaches). Virtual on Zoom, no travel.
• and for Tara and Tabitha a $500 scholarship each toward a JRP program

The three North West winners now join contestants qualifying from across England as the countdown begins to the Miss England Grand Final at Athena Leicester on 17th November 2026. 👑🇬🇧

The eventual Miss England winner will earn the opportunity to represent England at Miss World in Tanzania in May 2027.
