For several years, the Miss England and Mr England competitions have proudly partnered with City Sightseeing London , a partnership that perfectly reflects one of the competition’s most important values – encouraging people to explore, appreciate and celebrate the places they call home.

City Sightseeing London is famous for its iconic open-top bus tours, taking visitors through the heart of the capital and showcasing many of London’s most famous landmarks. From Buckingham Palace and St Paul’s Cathedral to the London Eye and Westminster, the tours provide a fantastic way to discover the city’s rich history, culture and architecture.

The partnership first began in 2020, at a time when international travel remained uncertain, the Miss England team wanted to encourage contestants to look closer to home and celebrate the incredible destinations on their own doorstep.   The Miss England  organiser Angie Beasley introduced a brand-new virtual challenge called Explore the Nation following the organisers decision to continue the contest virtually in the pandemic and travel restrictions existed .

The innovative round continues this year and invites contestants to create a two-minute video showcasing their hometown, city, county or local area. The aim is to promote domestic tourism, local pride and hidden gems across England while helping contestants develop their confidence & presenting and storytelling skills.

A recent fashion photoshoot brought together the Miss England 2025 award winners with renowned fashion photographer David Dresser and celebrated London designer Stuart Trevor who is based at Hoxton studio. Stuart Trevor, is on a mission to create the world’s first truly sustainable fashion brand, dressed the finalists in his distinctive vintage-inspired designs before they set off to explore the capital. The day had been months in the making, with the group touring London’s iconic landmarks aboard a City Sightseeing London bus. Although the weather had other plans, the persistent rain did nothing to dampen their spirits, and the award winners embraced every moment, proving that a little British drizzle couldn’t spoil an unforgettable day in the capital.

City Sightseeing London was a natural partner for this initiative. As experts in helping visitors discover the very best attractions and landmarks, they share Miss England’s passion for showcasing destinations and inspiring people to explore more.

Another valued partner in the same initiative is Coco-Moola, a company dedicated to helping visitors experience the very best of London without breaking the bank. As an online travel specialist, Coco-Moola curates affordable guided tours, immersive experiences and must-see attractions that showcase the heart and soul of one of the world’s greatest cities. The partnership continued in 2026 when City Sightseeing London welcomed a group of Miss England award winners and reigning Miss England Grace Richardson for a special fashion photoshoot with Award winner Phoebe Michaelides. Organised in collaboration with renowned fashion photographer David Dresser and vintage fashion designer Stuart Trevor, the shoot saw the contestants travel around London’s most iconic locations aboard a City Sightseeing bus.

Dressed in striking vintage fashion, the award winners visited some of the capital’s most recognisable landmarks for a series of editorial photographs. Despite the rain making several appearances throughout the day, spirits remained high and the group embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and plenty of smiles.

The result was a memorable day celebrating fashion, tourism and the enduring spirit of the Miss England competition. The collaboration once again highlighted how City Sightseeing London helps people experience the very best of the capital while creating unforgettable memories along the way. To end the day all the Miss England award winners where gifted skincare from Cetuem London, a natural skincare brand who continue to support the competition with gifts.

Together with Coco-Moola, the companies share Miss England’s passion for exploration, education and cultural discovery, helping contestants celebrate the places they come from while inspiring them to see more of the world.
