From Miss England to International DJ

Sally Kettle became Miss Leicestershire 20 years ago. She went on to win Miss England and represented the country at Miss World .

Sally remembers ;

“My Mum Judy actually entered me into my first pageant, Miss Leicestershire. I’d been a model from the age of 14 so I guess it came as a natural progression the be on the stage.  I then went onto competing in the Miss Universe Great Britain (3rd place) Miss Singapore, Queen of Clubs ,  I won Miss Hawaiian Tropic  GB and then went to Las Vegas to compete in the Internationals. The last pageant I took part in was Miss World 2001. This was by far the best pageant so I retired after this one

Now Sally works full time as a DJ . But with all of the Bars, Clubs and Events closing during 2020  Sally has  had to adapt like everyone and started doing ‘Live DJ Lockdown Sessions’ from home.

Sally has also set up a small business with her Mum called Pom Pom Queen!
