Award-winning international film producer and screenwriter Ariel Lavi returns to the Miss England judging panel for the second consecutive year, bringing a touch of Hollywood to the national beauty contest!
Ariel will be judging the Miss England Semi-Finalists digitally, helping to select this year’s National Finalists by browsing the contestants’ individual profiles on the official Miss England website, where he will review their backgrounds, achievements, talents and charitable work.
He will then attend the glittering Miss England Grand Final at Athena in Leicester on Tuesday 17th November 2026, where contestants from across the country will compete for the prestigious national title and the opportunity to represent England at Miss World in Tanzania in 2027.
FROM HOLLYWOOD TO MISS ENGLAND!
Ariel Lavi is an award-winning international film producer and screenwriter whose impressive career spans several continents, with production credits in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Nigeria and Italy.
His films have collectively achieved 139 awards and official festival selections worldwide, establishing him as a recognised name within the international film industry.
Alongside his successful filmmaking career, Ariel is also the co-founder of Hollywood Hills Magazine, an international entertainment publication featuring prominent personalities from the worlds of film, fashion and entertainment.
Through the magazine, he works with leading industry figures, producing high-profile editorial features and establishing media partnerships with major international film festivals.
Hollywood Hills Magazine is also one of the media partners supporting the Miss England competition.
A SECOND YEAR ON THE MISS ENGLAND JUDGING PANEL
This marks Ariel’s second consecutive year as an official Miss England judge.
His experience extends beyond film production and publishing, having also served as a judge for international cinematic platforms including the Sunset Film Festival and Hollywood Screenings Film Festival.
This year, Ariel will play an important role in the digital judging process, reviewing the Semi-Finalists’ profiles on www.missengland.info and helping the judging panel decide which contestants deserve a coveted place in the Miss England National Final.
His background in entertainment, storytelling and identifying creative talent brings a valuable international perspective to the competition.
With Miss England placing increasing emphasis on talent, personality, confidence, charitable achievements and Beauty with a Purpose, Ariel’s experience in the creative industries makes him a welcome addition to the judging team.
THE SEARCH FOR MISS ENGLAND 2026
The Miss England Semi-Final takes place at Melton Theatre on Sunday 11th October 2026, alongside the Mr England contest, sponsored by Envoy London.
Contestants will showcase their personalities, talents and creativity, including an Ethical Fashion round supported by WeDoEthical, where contestants create outfits inspired by their favourite female icons using reused or recycled fashion.
Successful contestants will progress to the national final at Athena in Leicester on 17th November 2026, where Ariel will join the celebrations in person.
The evening will also feature a special performance from reigning Miss England Grace Richardson, who recently won the Miss World Talent round in Vietnam, alongside performers from the Ann Oliver School of Dance.
The next Miss England will have the exciting opportunity to represent her country on the international stage at Miss World in Tanzania in May 2027.
With an international filmmaker helping to select the finalists, the spotlight is certainly shining on this year’s contestants!
