Inspiring new Miss Liverpool City Region winner crowned at The Sandon Complex 

The Miss Liverpool City Region event was sponsored and held at The Sandon Complex www.thesandon.com on Friday 22nd March 2024.   A team of 16 Make up artists from Beautiful Brows & lashes were ready to prepare the contestants for their final catwalk to the judges with 9 contestants competing , so the contestants were very well looked after !

Charlotte Grant who lives in Kirkby won the crown and the place in the Miss England national final . Charlotte is 23yrs old & owns her own Beauty Cosmetics business called Charlotte Grant Cosmetics.  During lockdown she donated £1000 of beauty products to NHS staff as she has huge respect for NHS .

When Charlotte was just 10yrs old she  broke her back and was in a wheel chair for 2yrs and told she would never walk again.  However due to intents long treatment at Alder Hey childrens hospital and her determination to walk again she now does acrobatics/trampolining /running.

Due to long term hospital treatment Charlotte missed a lot of schooling yet achieved high achievement awards and obtained many A* GCSEs   … Charlotte also did the Duke Of Edinburgh award and gained a GOLD.

In July  she will be doing a sky dive to raise money to support of a care home an elderly relative resides in.  Charlotte is also an actress and appeared in TV adverts and even extra parts in Coronation St!

Co presenter and entertainer  Mezo soprano singer  Sophie Clarke who has also performed at the Miss England national final twice !

Along with winning a place in the Miss England national final , Charlotte wins free hire from  Jean’s Sparkles who believe passionately that every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident and fabulous, without worrying about the cost or their disability.

Jeans Sparkles will be showcasing their Dresses with Dignity range in their very own fashion show at the Disability EXPO in Birmingham on the 6th of July.

If you would like to donate a dress it will be adapted by their team ready for the runway. So, every young lady and woman can feel like Miss England. Without financial worry or their disabilities.

Charlotte will be representing Liverpool in the Miss England national final sponsored by Watermans Hair on 16th & 17th May 2024 at the Grand Station Wolverhampton.
