Grace, a Performing Arts graduate from Leicester, is currently representing England at the 75th Miss World in Vietnam, and her wardrobe has included a selection of beautiful pieces from Seasonal Trunk, a multibrand boutique specialising in handwoven fashion, holiday prêt-wear and artisanal pieces from across India.
A spectacular welcome to Nha Trang
Grace looked stunning in her green Seasonal Trunk outfit as the Miss World national ambassadors arrived in Nha Trang for the next part of their Miss World journey.
The contestants joined reigning Miss World Opal Suchata for an unforgettable welcome to the coastal city.
Following a warm reception at voco Scenia Bay Nha Trang, the celebrations continued at Marina Beach Club, where Grace attended a lavish welcome dinner showcasing the hospitality of Nha Trang.
It proved to be a spectacular first evening in the city, with fireworks lighting up the night sky, artistic performances, special gifts and a wonderful dinner welcoming the Miss World representatives.
For Grace, it was also the perfect opportunity to wear one of her beautiful Seasonal Trunk looks.
The vibrant green ensemble was elegant, distinctive and ideal for the occasion, helping England’s representative stand out as the contestants entered another important stage of their Miss World experience.
Seasonal Trunk – A Story of Artistic Curation
Seasonal Trunk is a multibrand boutique and pop-up concept curating handwoven fashion, holiday prêt-wear and artisanal home pieces from across India.
Its focus is on homegrown brands that celebrate art, refined craftsmanship, exclusive materials and timeless design.
The concept looks for pieces that travel well, wear easily and endure beyond seasons – qualities that make Seasonal Trunk particularly suited to Grace’s extensive Miss World wardrobe, where contestants can attend several different engagements and events throughout their stay.
With pieces generally ranging from approximately £35 to £250+, Seasonal Trunk aims to make distinctive artisanal fashion accessible while championing talented Indian designers and craftspeople.
The artist behind Seasonal Trunk
Seasonal Trunk is curated by artist Anushka Mukherjee, an alumna of Chelsea College of Art & Design, University of the Arts London (UAL), 2006.
There is also a very personal story behind the concept.
Through Seasonal Trunk, Anushka is fulfilling her pioneering engineer father’s dream of helping to promote the beauty and heritage of Indian textiles.
Her artistic background is reflected in the careful curation of the collection, bringing together traditional craftsmanship, beautiful fabrics and contemporary designs that can be enjoyed well beyond a single season.
Grace’s collaboration with Seasonal Trunk is especially fitting given Miss England’s longstanding commitment to encouraging contestants to think more carefully about fashion and sustainability.
Grace herself has used her Beauty with a Purpose project, Every Drop Counts, to raise awareness of water consumption and the environmental impact of fast fashion.
Wearing carefully curated pieces with a story and craftsmanship behind them therefore complements the values Grace has been promoting throughout her reign.
And with representatives from across the world gathered in Vietnam for the landmark 75th Miss World, it provides a wonderful international platform for independent brands and designers.
A huge thank you to Anushka Mukherjee and Seasonal Trunk for supporting Grace Richardson during her Miss World journey and helping Miss England celebrate beautiful Indian design and textiles in Vietnam.
We can’t wait to see which Seasonal Trunk piece Grace wears next!
