On the hottest weekend of the year so far, four Miss England 2026 semi finalists braved the soaring temperatures to travel to Leicester to take part in the very first 2026 Miss England semi finalist sash photoshoot at Boss Studios

Organised by Miss England Director Angie Beasley and hosted by Celestia Barby at Boss Studios, the reigning Miss England Grace Richardson was invited as a special guest to present the contestants with their sashes at an exciting shoot.
This brought the contestants together for the first time ahead of this year’s semi final competition, where they had the chance to be presented with their sashes and meet other contestants.
Amber Hood and Sharon Singh from London, Amanda Dilani from Birmingham and Sia Kaur from Leeds all travelled to Leicester to enjoy a fun-filled day in front of the camera — becoming the first group of contestants to officially meet one another before the semi finals.

Photographer Andrew Mee of Moments by Mee captured the girls in a relaxed fashion-style shoot wearing classic vest tops and jeans before moving onto glamorous red carpet photographs with their official Miss England sashes.
Despite the heatwave conditions, the studio was a cool temperature and contestants kept smiling throughout the day and quickly bonded as a group.
Boss Studios owner, the inspirational confidence coach Celestia Barby, warmly welcomed everyone to the venue and made them feel at home, as she invited the contestants and team to experience the unique creative atmosphere the studio has to offer.
The stylish Leicester-based studio provided the perfect backdrop for the first official semi finalist shoot of the year.
A talented team of three make-up artists from Leicester College also came along to support the shoot and help the contestants prepare for the camera.
Harleigh, Lola and Sophie worked hard throughout the day creating fresh, polished looks for the girls and helping them feel confident in front of the lens.
Judging by the final images, the team did an incredible job and the atmosphere throughout the day was full of laughter, excitement and anticipation for the upcoming Miss England semi finals.

The next semi finalist shoot will take place next month at the same studio, giving even more contestants the opportunity to enjoy the same experience and begin their Miss England journey in style.
