If selected , contestants will be invited to a make over and Photoshoot at Flawless Photography studios in Lever Street in Manchester or Leeds to have an entry shot taken and a full photoshoot in various outfits .
The digital image to enter is FREE & contestants will be offered an optional discounted Pageant photo package to purchase further images from the shoot .
Flawless Studios will then send images over to the Miss England team , who will feature all the contestants who attended the photoshoot at Flawless.
The public vote which starts on August 1st will guarantee the public vote winner a place in the Miss England semi final in London on August 22nd and the top five from all the entries will be selected by a judging panel , who include the reigning Miss Manchester “Esme Holiday” .
The top 5 will be chosen by a judging panel and a public vote combined and invited to a special photo shoot at Flawless Studios in August 2022 . There, one winner will be selected who will go forward to the Grand Final of Miss England at the Heart of England Conference & Events Centre in Coventry on 17th October 2022.

Lancashire’s Miss England winner is currently competing as one of of 117 countries at the 71st Miss World in India, meanwhile, Viva Blackpool is gearing up to host the next Miss England semi final in April!
Jessica Gagen (28) from Skelmersdale Lancashire appeared in media across the world when she won the Miss England title back in 2022 as being the first redhead to ever win .
As a youngster Jessica & her family have fond memories of visiting the Pleasure beach & the Blackpool Air show & will be returning to the town to host the next semi final, either as Miss England or if she wins in India , the 71st Miss World which she is currently competing in !
The contest takes place on the 7th April 2024 whilst approximately 50 women from across England are invited to compete for one of 20 places in the national final of Miss England .
The contestants are taking part in numerous rounds already including creating social media content for the WATERMANS GORGEOUS HAIR award which will fast track one of the contestants straight through to the Miss England national final in May where Jessica will be crowning her successor.

This year’s Miss England 2023 Semi-final will be held at Viva Blackpool on exactly a year to the date since Jessica Gagen was crowned the winner in 2022 on Monday October 16th!
The venue is situated right next door to the famous Blackpool Tower and is proudly Blackpool’s 5 star premier entertainment venue! With pre-show dining on offer, a fantastic bar, its also the home of some of the most sensational shows in town!
Miss England organiser’s couldn’t think of a more iconic and suitable location to hold the next Miss England semi final contest with the current winner Jessica Gagen, hailing from Skelmersdale Lancashire . Director of Miss England , Angie Beasley said “We want Jessica to compete in Miss World as the reigning Miss England and we wanted to mark Jessica’s one year reign with the semi final in her home county” .
Jessica said: “The contest making an appearance in the north west is fantastic, as a lot of our past national finalists have hailed from the area. Before becoming Miss England I was Miss Lancashire, which encompasses the city – one I used to visit annually to watch the air show on the beach!”

Flawless Photography & Makeover Studios to host Miss England/Manchester contestants & more photographic qualifiers as photo heats in Leeds, Bradford, all of West & North Yorkshire , Cumbria , Northumberland , Staffordshire & Tyne and Wear!
An all-female based photography studio in Manchester , is all set to photograph this year’s entrants to Miss England from Manchester and surrounding areas.
Flawless Photography Studios will be welcoming contestants to have a make over and photoshoot and their audition photos taken at their studios, which will then be published on the official Miss England website . Contestants will then have the option to buy one of their discounted pageant packages to create a portfolio.

The judges for the heats will include a public vote on the Miss England App & former winners and organisers will then select a Top 5 from photos and videos . Esme Holiday is the reigning Miss Manchester and was sponsored by a "Skye Full of Stars" in the Miss Manchester & Miss England contest.
"This Charity is very close to my heart and it meant the world to me for them to be part of my pageant journey." said Esme.
"Skye was a true pageant girl with as much beauty on the inside as the outside. Skye my friend always wanted me to take part in contests with her but tragically she passed away in 2017 before we ever got the chance.
After lots of fundraising for the charity and encouraging words from Skye’s family I decided to take that leap of faith and apply for Miss Manchester in 2020 which lead me to having my place in The Miss England Finals in 2021.
The craziest thing throughout all of this is between me taking part in these contests , I landed my first dream job in television production. Now almost a year later I am still working in TV building connections. I have even travelled to Italy through work.
I still love supporting A Skye Full of Stars and I’m looking forward to what the future holds. Not only has Miss England contest given me the confidence to reach for the stars I will never forget this truly magical experience where I got the opportunity for Skye to shine down and watch me walk in her shoes."
