From local businesses and live entertainment to creativity, confidence and charity, Miss Norfolk 2026 Amy Morris is preparing to light up Norfolk with a fundraising evening that celebrates the community she proudly represents.

Norfolk’s very own Miss Norfolk 2026, Amy Morris, is inviting the community to come together this Bonfire Night for an evening of creativity, entertainment and fundraising, all in support of Beauty with a Purpose, the charitable initiative associated with Miss World.

Taking place on Thursday 5th November, Light Up the Night – Bonfire Night Party With a Purposepromises to be much more than your average charity fundraiser.

The event will be hosted by Bond, an independent Norfolk business, whose generosity and enthusiasm in getting involved have helped bring this wonderful evening to life.

As Amy prepares to represent Norfolk at the Miss England Finals in Leicester on 17th November, she has made it her mission to use her title to celebrate the people, independent businesses and incredible community spirit that make Norfolk so special.

Putting Norfolk’s Independent Businesses in the Spotlight

One of Amy’s biggest ambitions for the event is to involve as many independent Norfolk businesses as possible, giving them an opportunity to showcase their products, services and talents while supporting a meaningful cause.

From independent shops and creative businesses to beauty, hospitality and local makers, Amy hopes the event will shine a spotlight on the wonderful variety of businesses across the county.

“When I won Miss Norfolk, I knew I wanted to do more than wear a crown and a pretty dress – although I do rather enjoy both!” Amy laughed.

“I wanted to use this opportunity to show people just how beautiful Norfolk really is. And I don’t just mean our beaches, countryside and lovely little villages. I mean the PEOPLE! The independent businesses, the creative individuals and the people who work incredibly hard to make our county what it is.”

Amy is encouraging local businesses to get involved through raffle prizes, vouchers, sponsorship and other contributions, with the hope of creating a fundraising evening that genuinely brings Norfolk together.

“I’d love people to discover a business they never knew existed, meet someone new or simply leave the evening feeling proud to be part of this county. If we can raise money for charity while giving our local businesses some well-deserved attention, that’s a win-win in my eyes!”

An Evening of Confidence and a Little Bit of Sparkle

Unlike a traditional charity evening, Amy has designed an experience that encourages guests to get creative, have fun and embrace their individuality.

The evening will feature music, a DJ, dancing and a red-carpet moment where guests will be encouraged to strut their stuff in front of the camera.

“I love the idea that everyone gets to feel like a queen for the evening. You don’t need to be in a beauty pageant to feel like one!” Amy explained.

“I want people to come along, perhaps not knowing anyone, and leave with new friends, wonderful memories and a great big smile on their faces. And if I can get a room full of people walking down a red carpet feeling fabulous, I’ll be absolutely delighted!”

With a videographer planned to capture the celebrations, Amy hopes to create a lasting memory of an evening filled with laughter, friendship and confidence.

Beauty With a Purpose – More Than Just a Crown

The fundraiser forms part of Amy’s Miss England journey, which has already seen her take part in challenges promoting fitness, sustainability, natural beauty and community involvement.

Beauty with a Purpose is an international charitable initiative supporting projects that improve lives and help communities in need.

For Amy, the message behind the charity is particularly meaningful.

“I think there’s something really lovely about the idea that beauty isn’t just about how somebody looks. It’s about what they do, how they treat people and the difference they can make.”

“Being Miss Norfolk has given me a platform I never expected to have, and I want to make the absolute most of it. If I can bring people together, support local businesses and raise money for a wonderful cause, then that means far more to me than any crown ever could.”

A County Worth Celebrating

Outside of pageantry, Amy is a professional singer, vocal coach and business owner who works hands-on in the motorhome industry.

Her passion for bringing people together through music, creativity and shared experiences has inspired much of her fundraising work.

With the Miss England Finals fast approaching, Amy hopes her Bonfire Night event will demonstrate the kindness, generosity and community spirit of the county she represents.

“Norfolk has so much to offer, and sometimes I don’t think we shout about it enough! We’ve got some incredibly talented people and brilliant little businesses right on our doorstep.”

“I’d absolutely love to take a little piece of Norfolk with me to the Miss England Finals and show everyone what a wonderful county we are. And if we can do some good, have a dance and feel ridiculously fabulous along the way, even better!”
