Former Miss England 2022 National Finalist and WASUP Queen Award winner Jennifer
Carless is returning to the Miss England family in a brand-new role after being appointed as
the new Regional Organiser for the South West
Jennifer first joined the Miss England competition as a teenager and quickly became one of
the contest’s most inspiring contestants.

Throughout her journey she combined beauty with
purpose, dedicating herself to environmental campaigning and community work while
becoming one of the leading ambassadors for WASUP – World Against Single Use
Plastic. Her tireless commitment to sustainability earned her the prestigious WASUP Queen
Award at the Miss England National Final, recognising the contestant who had made the
greatest contribution to environmental awareness and recycling initiatives.

Despite facing significant health challenges, including living with the rare condition Fowler’s
Syndrome, Jennifer continued to inspire thousands by openly sharing her story and using
her platform to encourage other young women to speak openly about their health. She
launched her Women’s Talk campaign to help break down stigma surrounding women’s
health issues while continuing her charity and environmental work.

Her dedication extended far beyond the Miss England stage. Jennifer has represented
WASUP internationally in Pakistan, travelled overseas promoting environmental awareness,
worked alongside Professor Rashid Gatrad OBE, and has become recognised as one of the
competition’s most passionate sustainability ambassadors.
Now Jennifer is looking forward to giving something back to the competition that helped
shape her journey.

As the new Miss England South West Regional Organiser, she will be searching for
inspirational young women from across Dorset, Devon and Somerset to compete for a place
in the next Miss England Final. Contestants will take part in the competition’s unique rounds,
including Beauty With a Purpose, Bare Face Top Model, Sustainability award,Talent,
and Publicity Queen, showcasing far more than just beauty.
