Nineteen-year-old Amber Hood, a Political Intern and student from Dagenham Essex, has been announced as a Semi-Finalist in the prestigious Miss England 2026 competition.
Sponsored by NxtGenentltd on Instagram, a branded workwear company , Amber will be taking part in the semi final at the Melton Theatre Melton Mowbray Leicestershire on Sunday 11th October where the Miss England national finalists will be chosen .
Standing at 5’5″, Amber is combining her passion for public service, education, and charitable work as she progresses through one of the country’s most respected pageants.
What sets Amber apart is her extraordinary commitment to helping others. Since 2020, she has successfully raised an impressive £95,000 for charitable causes, demonstrating a dedication to making a meaningful difference within communities across the UK.
Amber’s fundraising achievements reflect her belief that young people can be a powerful force for positive change. Through her work and advocacy, she hopes to inspire others to become involved in charitable initiatives and community service.
As a Political Intern and student, Amber is committed to developing her understanding of leadership, public policy, and civic engagement while championing causes close to her heart.
Recently, Amber was pictured with Angela Rayner during the election campaign.
The Miss England competition is renowned for celebrating intelligence, ambition, community involvement, and positive role models. Amber’s selection as a Semi-Finalist recognises not only her achievements but also her potential to inspire others through her dedication to service and philanthropy.
