Miss England Marks International Women’s Day by Planting Trees for Victims of Domestic Violence

By 7th March 2026 No Comments
On Sunday March 8th 2026, International Women’s Day, Miss England Grace Richardson will join the Vayyu Foundation for a special tree-planting ceremony to honour women lost to domestic violence.
A total of 83 trees will be planted, each one representing a woman who tragically lost her life in the UK due to domestic violence.
The initiative forms part of the “Save Nature Save Women” campaign, which aims to raise awareness of violence against women while also encouraging environmental action.
Grace will actively take part in planting the trees as part of her Miss World Beauty with a Purpose project “Every Drop Counts”, a campaign focused on water conservation and protecting the environment.
The event will take place between 1pm – 3pm in Glen Parva, bringing together volunteers and supporters committed to both environmental protection and raising awareness of domestic violence.
By combining remembrance with positive environmental action, organisers hope the event will create a meaningful tribute while also contributing to a greener future.
