Women, Ideas, and Change: Women for Progress 2026

From May 29 to June 7, Salento will host the eleventh edition of the international event that rewards social commitment, innovation, and inclusion.

From May 29 to June 7, 2026, the Salento (Puglia, Italy) will host the 11th edition of Women for Progress – Women Supporting the World, one of the most significant international events focused on human rights, gender equality, social inclusion, and sustainability.

In 2026 Angie Beasley owner of Miss England Limited  has also become the  UK director for Miss Progress International having already sent women from across the world to international pageants since the 1990s . Women from 18-32 , married or single with children can enter this inclusive contest for the memorable opportunity.

Contestants are invited to enter by applying on the Miss England App for FREE on the Miss Progress section . If selected from the initial application , contestants will be invited to a zoom audition . Then between 12-20 contestants will be shortlisted to a one day studio shoot & interview round in Leicester on Saturday 28th February when the winner will be elected at the studio one day event .

The International contest is Organized by the Associazione Culturale In Progress of Taranto, Women for Progress is a journey of meetings, experiences, dialogue, and sharing. For ten days, women from around the world, together with institutions, associations, and local communities, will come together to exchange ideas and build a fairer and more conscious future.

The logistical hub for the 2026 edition will be the Messapia Hotel & Resort, hosting international delegations and participants. The experience will be enriched by the cuisine of Chef Mirco Vigna, offering a gastronomic proposal attentive to quality, local products, and sustainability.

During the international event, there will be cultural activities, public events, and awareness initiatives, culminating in the world finale of Miss Progress International, the contest that rewards the projects, ideas, and social impact of the participants, without focusing on their physical appearance.

Born to give women and their concrete actions a voice, Women for Progress has over the years built an international network of relationships and collaborations, receiving important recognitions and institutional patronages. The format remains a reference point for those who believe in culture as a tool for change and in dialogue as a key to addressing global challenges.

The 2026 edition represents a new chapter in this journey, combining social commitment and active participation, guided by shared values and an open outlook on the world.
