COMPETITION FORMAT

There will be 2 photographic online heats for Kent. The first heat will be held in December and the second round will be held in January 2012.

From each heat, the 5 girls with the highest number of votes from the public vote and 2-3 wildcards chosen by the judges will go through to the final round. 14-15 finalists will compete in the final round of Miss Kent 2012 in the Spring of 2012 .

In the final round of Miss Kent 2012, all finalists will be expected to be in eco wear (an outfit that is either created from recycled materials, borrowed from friends or relatives or bought from a charity shop) as the Miss England competition are supporters of sustainable fashion.

From the final round of Miss Kent 2012 ,1 winner will be chosen to represent Kent in the Miss England 2012 National Final

HOW THE PUBLIC VOTE FOR THIS HEAT WORKS
The public vote for this heat has now finished
The public vote will choose 5 girls with the highest number of votes to go into the live Miss Kent final judging round.
Also, from all of the girls pictured in this heat, 2 girls will be chosen as wildcards.
To vote for your chosen contestant by text
You must text MISS then THEIR UNIQUE KEYWORD as shown below their photograph to 64343
- Please remember to put a space between MISS and the unique keyword -
For example, for Ashton, you text "MISS01ASHTON" to 64343. Text votes cost 50p plus standard network rate
To vote for your chosen contestant by phone
You must dial 0901 307 0100 and then dial the unique two digit code (as shown below the contestant's photograph) when prompted
For example to vote for "MISS01ASHTON" call 0901 307 0100 and dial 01 when prompted.
Phone votes cost 51p plus network extras.
Problems with Voting?
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Winning the public vote will not guarantee winning the overall competition
- Votes can only be made within the UK
- Each person can only make a maximum of 10 votes on a daily basis
- All voters must be over 18 AND have the bill payer's permission
- Votes cast outside of the allotted period will not be counted but you may still be charged
- In the event of a tie in the public vote, the judges decision will be final
By law, you must let anyone you want to vote for you be aware of the terms and conditions to the public vote.

Judging Process

From each heat, the 5 girls with the highest number of votes from the public vote will be fast-tracked through to the final round. In addition, 2 wildcards chosen by the judges will go also through to the final round. 14 finalists will then compete in the final round of Miss Kent 2012
