At just 20 years old, (and soon to be 21 on the 21st of November – the very day of the Miss England Final!) Tabitha Bennett is representing Lancashire with poise, drive, and a true sense of purpose.
Currently studying Fashion Marketing at the London College of Fashion, Tabitha brings creativity and confidence both on and off the catwalk. Her background as an elite netball player – representing major clubs such as Manchester Thunder, Leeds Rhinos, Wasps, Chester Netball, and Cheshire Netball Club – has shaped her competitive spirit and teamwork from a young age. “Playing netball from the age of 8 to 18 taught me how to be a team player early on,” she says. “It’s a skill that’s helped me in every part of my life.”
A Family Legacy and a Modern Mission
Tabitha’s inspiration to enter Miss England comes from her own mum, whose journey with Miss England and
Miss United Kingdom left a lasting impression. “My mum’s experience opened so many
amazing opportunities and friendships,” says Tabitha. “Seeing how much confidence and
purpose it gave her made me want to follow in her footsteps.”
Fashion with Heart
A true advocate for sustainability, Tabitha embraces the Eco Fashion Round with a deeply nostalgic outfit
— reflecting her love for preloved style and ethical fashion. “I’m always shopping second-hand,” she smiles.
“I actually won Miss Lancashire wearing a dress from Vinted and a necklace from a charity shop!”
Lunch With A Purpose
Charity and community are at the heart of everything Tabitha does. On 23rd October, she is hosting her own charity luncheon titled
“Lunch With A Purpose”, in aid of Beauty With A Purpose, the global humanitarian cause supported by Miss World and Miss England.
“This event is about celebrating the strength of community and the joy of giving back,” says Tabitha.
“I’ve even surprised myself with how much I’ve enjoyed planning it – sourcing prizes, selling tickets,
and seeing people come together has been so rewarding.” Her auction catalogue for the luncheon showcases a stunning selection of prizes donated
by generous local businesses and supporters — a testament to her dedication and community spirit.
A Journey to Remember
From radio interviews and charity planning to meeting inspirational women from all
over the country, Tabitha’s Miss England journey has already been filled with unforgettable experiences.
“I’ve taken part in events I could never have dreamed of,” she says. “This journey has given me so much confidence and purpose.”
As the Miss England 2025 Final approaches at The Grand Station, Wolverhampton, Tabitha is preparing to celebrate not only her place in the national final
– but her 21st birthday live on stage! “It’s going to be the most special birthday ever,” she smiles.
“To spend it doing something so meaningful, surrounded by so many incredible people, is a dream come true.”
