Millie Suiter, a 20-year-old student and part-time worker at Dots Frocks, is making waves in her
local community with her dedication to promoting better access to resources for those living with
dementia.
Standing at 5’10, Millie has already amassed four years of hands-on experience in dementia care,
having worked in a care home from the age of 17. This early experience inspired her ongoing
mission: advocating for earlier diagnosis, prevention, and ultimately supporting the search for a
cure.
“Working closely with residents and their families opened my eyes to the gaps in support and
resources available,” Millie explains. “I want to help ensure that everyone in Manchester has access
to the care they need, and to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and
prevention.”
Millie’s passion for dementia advocacy is complemented by her commitment to her studies and
part-time work, demonstrating that young people can make a meaningful impact in their
communities while balancing other responsibilities.
The semi final takes place at the Grand Station Wolverhampton on Friday October 3rd which is being broadcast LIVE on the Beauty Queen Channel on Amazon and the Miss England YouTube Channel.
