The Kids Galaxy High School in Gujarat was one of many venues and hospitals working with the founder of WASUP , Professor Rashid Gatrad  recently for special presentations on “World Against Single Use Plastic (WASUP )  . Rashid invited Jennifer Carless,  the Chief International Ambassador on the trip to spread the word .  Jennifer won  the ‘Miss England WASUP Queen Award in the 2021 Miss England final.

The Miss England/ North Yorkshire- Charity Queen’ &  Ms. Rabia Ljaz, Chief Ambassador WASUP Pakistan were warmly welcomed by The  Principal Mrs. Irfan Sherazi and all the venues Jennifer visited.

The guests conducted the session to create awareness about usable, reusable and non reusable plastic.

This is Jennifer’s first ever visit to India /Pakistan  and in the photograph, Jennifer is pictured presenting a book created by Rashid Gatrad titled “The Story of Three Plastic bottles ” .

This was a very inspiring session for the school children who pledged to take care of their environment to make it a better place for living 💚

Jennifer also made numerous other visits to hospitals and schools around India and Pakistan during her visit , pictures will soon be shown on the Miss England App on the WASUP diary.

WASUP now has a qualifyer in the  Miss England 22 contest and will be offering 3 semi final places for any Miss England contestant who puts the most effort to help spread the important WASUP message. The new WASUP queen will be crowned at the Miss England national final later in the year.

Rashid and Jennifer are now hoping to get the book in to UK schools to create more awareness about plastic pollution and want to hear from anyone who can help achieve this !
