Here are some simple, stylish ways to keep Christmas kind to people and planet with the WeDoEthical award winner in Miss England 2025 , the reigning Miss London Charlotte Yeung!

Choose ethical brands, handmade gifts, or experiences over fast-fashion and throwaway items. Donations, workshops, theatre tickets or spa days create memories, not waste.

 Wrap it sustainably

Skip shiny paper. Use brown paper, fabric wraps (Furoshiki), scarves, newspapers, or reusable gift bags tied with string or ribbon.

Reuse decorations year after year, choose wooden or recycled ornaments, and opt for real greenery you can compost afterwards.

 Dress ethically

Rewear, restyle, rent, or buy vintage. If buying new, support ethical or sustainable designers and fabrics.
