Fireworks by The Fireworks Firm

In more than two decades of organising Miss England finals, the organisers have never witnessed a result as close as the 2025 final competition held at the Grand Station Wolverhampton on November 21st 2025

In the lead-up to the Grand Final, the finalists are invited to take part in various preliminary rounds—by submitting videos & photos  of themselves in the Talent, Bare Face,  Explore the Nation, WeDoEthical Fashion, Public Vote and even a live sports round & more. These rounds help determine which contestants advance to the Top 12 on the final night along with the judges choice once they studied everyones profile on the Miss England app .

But this year, even reaching the Top 12 proved almost impossible to call. Two finalists missed out by just one point each, followed closely by four more who were only a whisper behind. Once the final 12 were confirmed, each contestant was then invited to speak on stage about the Beauty with a Purpose project they would take to Miss World if they became Miss England. Their purpose, passion, talent and delivery would then help the judges select the final Top 3.  But what happened next has never occurred before.

A Three-Way Tie for the Crown

When the judges’ sheets were collected, all three finalists had exactly the same overall score. A complete tie.

The adjudicators were then forced to refer back to the individual round results to break the deadlock—and only one factor separated the winner from the rest:

Grace Richardson had won the Talent Round the night before.

Her show-stopping performance earned her the vital extra point, making her the new Miss England 2025.

The scores were so close that even the placings beyond the Top 3 revealed multiple ties, showing just how fiercely contested this year’s competition was.

And now, for the first time, we are publishing the full 1st–15th placings to showcase just how tight the results truly were — including where contestants tied on points. COMING SOON
