The Royal Thai Embassy in London, in collaboration with Miss World, hosted a powerful conversation focused on “Beauty, Purpose & Women’s Empowerment.” This event honored Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother during her birthday month and celebrated 170 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the UK.

Special guest speakers included Opal Suchata, Miss World 2025 (the first Thai woman to win the crown), and Anchalee Matlock, a Thai journalist making waves in global media.

Highlights of the day included a royal exhibition showcasing rare archives from Their Majesties’ 1960 UK visit, and a presentation paying tribute to Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication to various causes, from health and heritage to the creation of Thailand’s iconic traditional dress.
