Miss World England 2025
Charlotte Grant pageant journey started when she won Miss Liverpool City Region 2024 & has a story which is one of remarkable resilience. At age ten, a spinal injury from an accident left her paralysed and told she might never walk again. Thanks to extended treatment at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and her own determination, she not only learned to walk—but has since practiced acrobatics, trampolining, and running and has achieved her Bronze , Silver & Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards.
Representing Liverpool at Miss England 2024 (held in May at Grand Station, Wolverhampton), Charlotte impressed on multiple fronts. Although she placed as First Runner-Up, she stood out for her creativity and commitment:
Second place in the “We Do Ethical” round, where she transformed her mother’s wedding dress into a 1920s-inspired look.
Second place in the high-intensity Sports Round at the Heart of England.
Most notably, Charlotte led the Beauty with a Purpose fundraising challenge—raising over £7,130 for the charity Balls to Cancer in just over a month, making her the top fundraiser among all national finalists. Her initiatives included:
Abseiling down Anfield Stadium (raising nearly £3,000 including a matched donation).
Hosting a tea and coffee morning in Ormskirk, raising £400.
Organising a charity DJ event featuring seven local DJs, raising £600.
Running a fitness fundraiser at PureGym Kirkby, along with several additional events leading up to the national final.
Her outreach extended to care home visits, a bingo and raffle day for elderly residents, and supporting an autism awareness football fundraiser which raised over £10,000.
Representing England on the Global Stage
Charlotte’s achievements nationally led to two international opportunities:
In September 2024, she received the official sash to represent England at the inaugural Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant in Vietnam. Competing in Ho Chi Minh City in October among 56 international contestants, she proudly flew the flag for England.
In May 2025, after the original Miss England winner withdrew mid competition, Charlotte was selected to represent England at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad, India. Despite receiving the news while on holiday in Spain, she responded without hesitation—flying out within 48 hours and competing on the global stage with pride. Though she did not place, her participation stood as a testament to her flexibility, grace, and ambition.
More Than a Beauty Queen
Charlotte’s Miss World biography highlights her entrepreneurial background, running her own “Charlotte Grant Cosmetics”on TikTok, her passion for performing arts, and unique hobbies like birdwatching and stamp collecting. She is especially proud of raising over £7,000 for Balls to Cancer—and for her Anfield abseil that helped break down stigmas around male cancers.
Post-Pageant Engagement
Back in the UK, Charlotte made her first major public appearance post-Miss World at the BOPA Peace Garden Festival in Coventry. Wearing an Indian-inspired outfit and the official Miss World England contestants sash gifted during her time in Hyderabad, she shared her international experience and inspired a new generation of contestants, praising the Miss World platform as welcoming, inclusive, and empowering.
