Direct-Flights to the Motherland, Nepal from (Sydney, Perth) Australia and major European cities including
Paris (France), Frankfurt (Germany), Madrid (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal) & London (UK) are in their final
stages of preparation. The Historic & Heroic inaugural flights launching from Autumn 2025 are the result
of years of dedication, hard work, lobbying and complying with regulations and policies across multiple
authorities of different Countries.
This initiative sets the stage for Himalaya Jet’s vision to connect global casino destinations Las Vegas &
Macau to Monte Carlo (French Riviera) by 2027/28. These routes will feature brand-new, state-of-the- art
First and Business Class cabins delivering an ultra-luxurious experience tailored to high-end casino
travellers.
The Brand New British Premium Airline Himalaya Jet is preparing for its first ever official Press Conference
in London where full details and final preparations will be revealed in the coming weeks.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Himalaya Jet has sponsored the two largest annual
events of the Nepali diaspora Gurkha Cup and Nepali Mela organised by Tamu Dhee UK in collaboration
with the Embassy of Nepal for the next 10 years and beyond. The sponsorship also extends to other
charities supporting Nepali communities abroad.
The executive team of Tamu Dhee UK including Trustees and Advisors warmly welcomed the Himalaya Jet
delegation with a traditional Piper ceremony in appreciation of their generous donation. Mr Jumkaji
Gurung, Chairman of Tamu Dhee UK, expressed his heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for what he called
“the biggest game-changing project in the history of Nepal and the Nepali people.”
During the felicitation ceremony, Tamu Dhee hosted a champagne toast in honour of Mr. Dipendra
Gurung MIoD, Owner and President of Himalaya Jet after toasting on the names of His Majesty King
Charles III of the United Kingdom and the President of Nepal with cultural performances by Nepali artists
adding to the celebration.
According to Mr. Kamal Gurung, Chief Coordinator of the event
“For the first time in our 25-year history, Tamu Dhee has honoured a chief guest at such a high level. We
are proud to recognize Mr. Dipendra Gurung MIoD for his exceptional achievements and unwavering
dedication to Nepal and the Nepali people.”
Duchess Nivin praised Mr. Gurung’s patriotic vision and outlined upcoming programmes by the airline. Mr
Ian George, Executive at the Gurung Family Office, shared updates on Himalaya Jet and related other
aviation entities under the Gurung Family Conglomerate including airport infrastructure, aviation
investments and luxury duty-free retail worldwide. He also reflected on his more than five years of
association with the Gurung family.
