The return of Miss Newcastle England for 2026 marks a powerful new chapter for pageantry in the North East. As
an official regional heat of Miss England, the competition offers local women the opportunity to progress to the Miss
England Final, with the national winner going on to represent England at Miss World.

The relaunch is led by Regional Director Melissa Fiona Rae, whose journey began as a young Miss Newcastle
contestant before progressing to national and international stages. Having competed internationally at Miss Eco
representing the UK, and later reaching the Miss England Final, Melissa brings lived experience, credibility, and a
strong vision for the future of the competition.

Miss Newcastle England is about far more than a crown. Contestants gain confidence, public speaking skills, charity
engagement experience, media exposure, and professional development. The competition celebrates diversity,
individuality, and purpose, preparing women for opportunities both within and beyond pageantry.
With a strong focus on community and impact, Miss Newcastle aims to showcase the ambition, resilience, and
warmth of the North East on a national stage. Applications are open to women who meet Miss England eligibility
requirements, with or without pageant experience.

Miss Newcastle England 2026 will take place in early summer, and interest is expected to be high
