In a bid to get to know more about this year’s Miss England National Finalists, director Angie Beasley introduced a new twist at the very first official photoshoot. Contestants were invited to arrive wearing either their professional work attire or an outfit that represents their current studies, giving a unique insight into their lives beyond the pageant stage.

The light-hearted initiative wasn’t just about fashion – it was designed to help the finalists feel more at ease on arrival. To add to the fun, official photographer Simon Bond was challenged to guess each finalist’s profession or field of study before starting their photoshoot.

From aspiring fashion creatives, to Dog Groomers the shoot highlighted the diverse and inspiring career paths of the 2025 finalists. Judging by the smiles and laughter captured in the photos, the contestants thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

“This was a great way to break the ice,” said Angie Beasley. “It gave us all a chance to learn more about the women behind the competition – their ambitions, talents, and professions. The Miss England competition has always been about celebrating beauty with a purpose, and this activity reflected exactly that.”

The Miss England National Final will take place later this year, bringing together inspirational young women from across the country to compete not only for the crown but also to showcase their personal achievements, passions, and purpose.

The winner qualifies for the 73rd Miss World
