Grace will be accompanied by President Dr Rakesh Sachdev, owner of Sachdev Co
Chartered Accountants in Coventry BOPA Davinder Prasad, General Secretary along with other BOPA members . Both Rakesh & Davinder have strong ties with India and are committed to supporting community projects both in the UK and overseas.

Through his business and charitable initiatives, Rakesh has raised thousands of pounds for various causes, including the projects Miss England will visit during this tour.

Among the charities Grace will visit are:

• The Eknoor Charitable Trust, Amritsar – which has given shelter and all the necessary livelihood to abandoned girls, by raising them, educating them and give all the materialism of necessity. Eknoor is not just home to orphan girls, but it is home to old
aged in the Indian community.

• Lions Public School in Nurpur Chatha –The school began as Lions Nurpur Public School, with just 8 students and today we have more than 390 students with many enquiries are being received daily, where students receive education same standard as
UK.

• Unique Home for Girls – which offers protection and care for vulnerable girls. The Unique Home’ looks after unwanted, unclaimed or orphan children whom society shuns and were abandoned at birth. The baby girls are found by roadsides, dumped by running water, or even left during the night in the baby cradle outside the Unique home.

These visits reflect the shared commitment between BOPA and Miss England to service, empowerment and sustainable community support and spread happiness when deprived girls meet an international celebrity for Children in India.

A Cultural Journey to Remember
In addition to the charity visits, Grace will experience some of India’s most iconic and
spiritual landmarks.

“We want to make sure this trip also gives Grace the opportunity to visit some memorable sights. Included in the schedule is a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar Punjab, a visit to the elephant sanctuary in Pink City of Royals in Jaipur Rajasthan, and ending with a trip to the Taj Mahal in Uttar Pradesh — no visit to India should ever be without,” said Davinder
Prasad General Secretary of BOPA.

From the serenity of the Golden Temple to the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal, the visit
promises to be a truly unforgettable experience.

Dr Rakesh Sachdev President, said “Visit of Miss England to Coventry Mercia Club and

Statement from Angie Beasley, Director of Miss England
“I was lucky enough to accompany the second Miss England, Jessica Gagen, to visit India in February 2023. It’s possibly the most incredible trip I’ve had, although it was non-stop as we visited so many places across India. We visited all the attractions mentioned, as well as tribal villages and schools in Rajasthan. India holds a very special place in my heart — I will
remember the trip forever.”

This upcoming visit continues to strengthen the bond between Miss England and BOPA, demonstrating that pageantry is about far more than the crown — it is about connection, compassion and creating positive global impact.
