Over the years, the Miss England competition has proven to be much more than a beauty pageant — it’s a platform where lifelong friendships are formed. Contestants & organisers alike often forge lasting connections that continue long after the final crown is awarded.

A perfect example of this enduring camaraderie can be seen in the friendship between Miss England Director, Angie Beasley, and Choreographer, Lisa Powell, who have worked together for over two decades. The pair first met through  Andrew Minarik, the legendary Head of Hair and Makeup for both Miss England and Miss World.  What began as a professional introduction blossomed into a strong friendship and partnership that continues to shape the spirit and success of Miss England today.

That same sense of unity and friendship continues to thrive among some of the previous & current generation of contestants. At the Miss England 2025 Semi Final, many of the participants formed strong bonds through their shared journey and mutual encouragement.

To mark these special connections, Diamond Dealer Direct, a prestigious Birmingham-based jeweller, generously gifted eternity bracelets to all the semi-finalists. The bracelets symbolise everlasting friendship and serve as a heartfelt reminder of the contestants’ time in the competition.

These gestures of kindness and connection highlight what Miss England has always stood for — beauty with purpose, friendship, and empowerment.
