At just 26 years old, Holly Worswick, a dedicated secondary PE teacher from Cheshire, is proving
that resilience and determination can overcome even the toughest challenges. Standing 5’6” with a
boundless passion for sport and education, Holly has already faced more medical trials than most
encounter in a lifetime — undergoing five brain surgeries in her ongoing fight against a benign

brain tumour.

Despite her health battles, Holly continues to inspire both her students and her community with her
commitment to teaching, her unwavering positivity, and her refusal to be defined by her illness. She
remains active in her role as a PE teacher, motivating young people to stay healthy, active, and

strong — both physically and mentally.

“I want my journey to show others that life doesn’t stop when you’re faced with something
difficult,” Holly says. “You can adapt, you can keep going, and you can still make a difference.”
Holly’s story is a reminder that resilience isn’t just about survival — it’s about living fully, inspiring
others, and never losing sight of your goals. Her courage continues to touch everyone around her,

from her students in the classroom to her wider community in Cheshire.
