On January 24th, the Role Model Summit for teenagers and their champion parents took place at the iconic Leicester Tigers rugby stadium making a bold statement of authenticity, courage, and purpose. This was more than an event; it was a movement. A space where achievement stood proudly alongside vulnerability and personal growth.
Throughout the day, attendees were immersed in compelling keynote speeches, inspiring interviews, and transformative life coaching workshops designed to ignite confidence and unlock potential opening young minds to step into becoming role models.
Grace Richardson, the reigning Miss England, joined Celestia Barby, founder of the Role Model Summit, on stage for a powerful interview on the Role Model Show. Together, they explored self-belief, identity, and Grace’s courage and commitment to pursuing her dreams. Grace radiated elegance and conviction, bringing not only poise but a genuine heart for young people. Their conversation highlighted the profound responsibility of role models in shaping the next generation through authenticity and action.
Our amazing host was Sian Brennantodd who introduced our amazing Keynote speakers including Ollie the Car Kid, Inspiring Vanessa, and Clem Guerriero each delivered thought-provoking insights drawn from their lived experiences and journeys to success. Celestia Barby and Dale Vincent led deeply impactful life coaching workshops, equipping young people and their parents with practical tools to strengthen mindset, resilience, and self-leadership.
What set the Role Model Summit apart was its unwavering commitment to giving young people a voice. It created space for teenagers to be heard, to develop role model skills that enhance personal growth, and to share meaningful experiences with their parents. From overcoming self-doubt and challenging stereotypes to advocating for mental health and standing boldly for community values, every element of the summit reinforced a defining truth: leadership begins within.
The Role Model Summit redefined what it truly means to be a role model. It dismantled the myth of perfection and replaced it with something far more powerful — authenticity. Speakers spoke openly about setbacks, growth, and lessons forged through adversity, reminding the audience that leadership is not about having all the answers, but about choosing integrity, courage, and kindness especially when it feels uncomfortable.

The Role Model Summit did more than inspire; it activated. It challenged young people to recognise their influence now and not someday. By spotlighting young leaders already driving change, the message was unmistakable: be the change, be a teen role model.
The true essence of life lies in lifting others as you rise. The Role Model Summit stands as living proof that when young people are given the right platform, they do not just grow, they thrive.
