TV News Presenter

We are proud to announce the 2020/21 Miss England TV News Presenter challenge. A competition designed to offer invaluable experience, professional coaching in presenting that will help you to develop a career in media and a chance to qualify for the Finals.

The overall winner will qualify for the Finals and can then enter the TV Presenter Round with a chance to win a place in the Top 10 of the Grand Finals!

All competitors (and any sponsors) will benefit from major publicity. In 2019 we created massive publicity for contestants and their sponsors alike. During just five days of voting on Facebook, the competition posts reached 342,212 people and had: 145,460 video views, 140,161 post engagements followed by, 17,894 reactions (interactions with page) and 61,101 shares.

Competition Format

This is a solo journalistic presentation. You’ll have the opportunity to design and present a short high quality TV style news program about your sponsor or your Beauty with Purpose mission e.g. promote news about your home town, health and wellbeing or fitness, environmental or charity causes or news about a commercial sponsor.

The filming will either be at our Miss England® TV studio in Milton Keynes with full COVID-19 safety precautions or we will come to you and film on-location with an outdoors production.

Competition Registration Fee:

A non-refundable competition entry fee of £25 must be paid directly to Miss England®. They will then register on the new Miss England App.

Production Cost

If you get 30 friends and family to join as App Premium Members then your video production costs are FREE.

If you have a Sponsor who can afford to pay the production cost of £395+VAT to The Video News Factory Ltd then you can FAST-TRACK and book your production.

Fees cover training, 1-2-1 coaching, filming, editing, photoshoot and social media promotion.

For on-location, regardless of FREE or paid by sponsor please add travel expenses at 50p a mile for each production. This expense may be shared with between up to four contestants within a 50 mile radius where filming can be scheduled for all contestants on the same day.

All fees are payable in advance.
