Highlights of the Miss England 2012 Final
Miss Devon Charlotte Holmes has been crowned Miss England 2012. The Miss England 2012 Finals was a 4 day event which climaxed at the Athena Leicester on Tuesday 26th June. This page will be highlighting what was a magical four day final event. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE REPORT IN THE DAILY MAIL

DAY 1: Front Top Model and greeting the Miss England contestants at the Birmingham Malmaison

The final began with all of the finalists of Miss England gathered at the Birmingham Malmaison in their Mauritius T-shirts. The Mauritius Tourism Board were the national sponsor to Miss England 2012.



Miss Brighton Kitty Williams was announced as the Beauty with a Purpose winner. Kitty raised over £4800 which was a phenomenal amount! This year, all of the Miss England contestants had been raising funds for Brent Knoll School which is a school for children with special needs.


In the afternoon, the finalists took part in the Front Top Model round in beautiful black dresses.



It was Miss Devon Charlotte who emerged as the winner of the Front Top Model.

DAY 2: Bootcamp at Aston Villa


On day two, the finalists took part in a gruelling bootcamp at Aston Villa where the boys at Regiment Fitness took them through their paces!


Miss Sussex Alyse Louisa Spratt emerged as the last girl standing and therefore was given the sportswoman award.


Alyse took her lap of honour at the pitchside of Aston Villa.


The day finished with all the contestants dining at Ashas Restaurant where Miss Birmingham Kris'ina Jagpal was awarded the title of 'Miss Ashas'

DAY 3: Arrival at the Ramada Encore and the Eco night

On day three, the finalists travelled on a national express coach to Leicester. The girls were staying at the Ramada Encore and prepared for the third night of events which included the Great Lengths Stunning Style Award, Miss Eco and the top 5 Miss England Got Talent.

10 girls competed in the Great Lengths Stunning Style Queen Award. All of the girls wore Black dresses and gold jewelleries and modelled with the hairstyles created by the Great Lengths Hair team.

All of the girls have also been taking part in a Miss Eco round where the girls have done well in promoting sustainable fashion. The clothings were either made from recycled materials, borrowed from friends and family or bought from a charity shop!

DAY 4: THE MISS ENGLAND FINAL

After months of preparations, all of the finalists competed in the spectacular final which included entertainment from Andy Williams, Original Movements and from Sugardolls. In this picture, the girls pose outside of the Ramada Encore just before they went on stage at the Athena, Leicester.

The finalists appeared on stage in an array of red and white dresses with unique 'Miss England' shoes provided by City Shoes



The show included a jaw dropping evening wear round where former X-factor finalist and Eurovision singer Andy Abraham sang as the girls walked!

As the Mauritius tourism board being the national sponsor, the finalists appeared on stage in Mauritius 'It's a Pleasure' T-shirts and flags


The night also included stunning performances from the Mauritian Dancers.

After the dinner break, the top 17 was announced and the chosen girls returned to the stage in their evening wear. The top 17 was then downsized to just 5 girls who were then asked one important question from a judge which could make or break them.
