Miss England 2012 - Awards
To reach the top 15 in Miss England - contestants will need to WIN one of these award OR do well in the qualifier.
In the lead up to and at the national finals of Miss England 2012 held on the 25th & 26th June, finalists will be invited to participate in various qualifying rounds to reach the FINAL 15 in the grand final. This page will give you more information about these rounds! The judges will also select the remaining girls for the top 15.
Mauritius Publicity Queen
The winner of the Mauritius Publicity Queen Award will win a flight and stay for 1 at the Long Beach Mauritius!
Beauty with a Purpose: Charity Queen
In the lead up to the final, contestants will be invited to raise as mush money as possible for the Miss World charity "Beauty with a Purpose" which works tirelessly on projects helping disadvantaged children around the world. The contestant raising the most funds will be crowned "BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE" on the night of the finals & she will be fast tracked through to the final 15.

As part of the competition, all national finalists are required to wear an outfit made from recycled materials, or purchased from a charity shop, or wear something that has been handed down from their families or friends. The judges will select just ONE WINNER - who in their opinion wore the most ethical and inspirational outfit!

Front Models are sponsors of this new round which will take place at the Miss England Boot Camp. All finalists will be invited to demonstrate their catwalk & modelling skills for Front Models. The judges will be looking for confidence and catwalk techniques as well as good looks.

The photographic partners for Miss England, The Fresh Academy will be electing one winner, who in their opinion is the most photogenic in the contest. Finalists are invited
Sportswoman award (OPTIONAL)
In association with Regiment Fitness, A boot camp will be held where all contestants will be invited to take part in the Sports round run by Regiment Fitness.All finalists will be invited to participate in the sportswoman award, which will be held as an army style Boot camp with Regiment Fitness. This will take place during the first two days of the final at the Malmaison Birmingham.
Contestants will be put through their paces and the fittest girl will win this award will be fast tracked through to the top 15

Beauty and the Beach Award (Optional)
Top celebrity photographer Alan Strutt will select ten Miss England finalists from the website from your online portfolio in the finalists section of the Miss England website - who in their opinion have the best beachbodies. The winner of this round will be fast tracked through to the top 15 and will a trip to Thailand!

All finalists will be given a month to campaign in the area that they live to generate as much support for themselves as possible! The girl with the most votes in the public vote round which is being held in the lead up to the final will be fast tracked through to the Miss England top 15 on the final night.
