Miss England to run for Race of life in memory of her grandparents
Thursday, 28 July 2011 12:09
Alize Mounter the newly crowned Miss England will run this Saturday on London's Clapham Common in the Race for Life 5K race in aid of Cancer Research. Alize is running the race in memory of her Mother's parents who both died from cancer.

Alize said "Cancer still remains such a threat to our lives, my Grandmother died at a young age with breast cancer and my Grandfather lost his life to bowl cancer, so I want to support Cancer Research in their memory. The charity is so important as it funds vital research to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease. As Miss England I am now in the position to help raise awareness for the charity."
It is going to be a very important year for Alize, as she will be representing England at the Miss World finals to be held in London on the 6th November and be the host Ambassador. She wants to use her position as Miss England to support good causes and be a role model for young people.
