Miss England Awards 2013
The Miss England Grand Final will be held in Torquay this year on June 16th at the Riviera International Conference Centre .
Here are the 8 awards which will offer a fast track place to the winning girls . Once all 60 contestants have appeared on the catwalk on the final night , the awards will be presented to the winning girls along with the judges choice . Just 15 girls will then go through to the interview stage all winning a step closer to be crowed the next Miss England !
12 finalists have been photographed ahead of the finals on the beach in Torquay and was selected by top celebrity photographer Alan Strutt. The winner of Beach Beauty wins a trip to Mauritius !
Aftershock will be choosing a face to represent their brand during the four day event. The winner will be invited to appear as a model at a high profile Aftershock event during the year.
Regiment Fitness will hold the Miss England Boot Camp in Friday 14th June at the Riviera Centre in Torquay.
This award is given to the fittest girl in the contest!

The Miss England office have invited all contestants the opportunity to submit a DVD of their talent. Lisa Powell, a qualified drama teacher and Angie Beasley the director of Miss England will be choosing the most talented female in the contest.
The photo partner for the Miss England contest is the Fresh Academy. Fresh have invited all the national finalists for a free photoshoot to enter this contest and one winner will be selected.
This special award goes to the top fundraiser in Miss England 2013. The Miss England competition supports the Miss World Charity, Beauty with a Purpose which raises funds for disadvantaged children.
This award goes to the contestant with the mmost votes submitted by the public during an online competition which has taken place ove the recent weeks.

Miss England 2013: National Final Judges
The final of Miss England 2013 will be held on Sunday 16th June in Torquay ! The winner will represent the national in Miss World with a chance to win $100,000

CJ de Mooi
Eggheads
After his 9 years on the BBC show Eggheads, CJ was one of the country's best known quizzers with The Guardian describing him as 'a future Bond villain". However, he'd always wanted to act so in November 2011, he said goodbye to the show and went in pursuit of his dreams.
With several notable roles now under his belt including The Major General in The Pirates of Penzance, Sidney Bruhl in Deathtrap and Ms Axel in his west end production of the musical Geek!, CJ has carved out his cherished career. 2014 will see him take the lead in his first feature film The Renata Road and of course, there's always the acting staple of pantomime to look forward to!
Quizzing of course is still a large part of CJ's life and his new book How To Win TV Quiz Shows has won acclaim and rave reviews. He writes and hosts several quiz events a year, especially in conjunction with the many charities he supports. This is the third time he's been a judge at Miss England and he still enjoys it immensely. However, sometimes his sharp tongue still gets the better of him!

Linda Hill has for the past 14 years had the pleasure of working in tourism on the English Riviera. Torbay Hospitality Association, trading as Torbay Tourism. This was established in 1918 by a group of exceptional forward thinking professional hoteliers who loved the tourism industry and put so much back into the hospitality industry. Today that tradition carries on with a brilliant number of unpaid hard working Executives members who are thrilled to welcome visitors to their establishments in this wonderful part of the world.

Jackie Turner
Miss England 2003
Jackie Turner , the winner of the Miss Dorset title from Poole won the Miss England title in 2003 at the Hammersmith Palai London. Judges for the contest that year included Alex Best , Dean Gaffney, Richard Blackwood and Simon Webbe.
Jackie became good friends with Simon Webbe after the event and the renown boy band "Blue" who supported Jackie with her fund raising at the Miss World final in Sanya China. Jackie , hosted several Miss England regional and national competitions and appeared in various magzaines and newspapers including the Sunday Mirror , The Daily star and a feature in Front magazine.
The following year the final of Miss England was held in Bournemouth at the BIC centre which Danielle Lloyd went on to win. Jackie has continued with her modelling career since winning the title and really enjoyed her year as Miss England.

Charlie Kaufman FSWPP Hon. is an outstanding award winning photographer based in Hertfordshire. His unique flair, style and experience enables him to constantly create incredible images and deliver what his clients expect to receive. With over 20 years of excellence, he is privileged to have photographed many spectacular occasions, high profile subjects and a section of Miss England's spanning over 5 years.
Charlie also owns one of the country's largest fashion studios, the Fresh Academy, is the founder and chairman of the world's largest group of photographers The Click Group and can regularly be found teaching at seminars and conferences all over the UK and USA. He recently won an honorary fellowship, for his contribution and innovations to the photographic industry as well as his company winning the 'Best Professional Service Award' at the 2013 Societies Photographic Awards Evening.
Gwyn ( pictured above) joined Puma Hotels just three months ago as the first female General Manager in the one hundred and forty seven year history of the Imperial Hotel Torquay, Gwyn has been involved in the hospitality industry for over twenty years, travelling the world with Marriott Hotels and spending seven years at Wentworth the famous Surrey golf club.

Angie Beasley: Director of Miss England (and chairwoman of the judges & national organiser of the Miss England event)
Angie Beasley (formerly Chapman) has been in the Beauty Contest business since 1981 winning 25 regional titles in the 1980s. She first started organising competitions in 1988 when she became a promotions manager for Mecca Leisure in Leeds and held her first heat for Miss World 1989. During the 1990s Angie worked for three years for the late" Eric Morley", the owner of Miss World organising the Miss United Kingdom competition for entry to Miss World and many national competitions for men and women including Miss Wales, Miss Scotland and hundreds of regional events. In the year 2000, Miss World decided to split the UK up in to four countries giving 4 girls the chance to go forward to Miss World instead of one, and Angie is now the Director of Miss England Limited.

All of the girls used their creative skills to create all sorts of eye-catching outfits to show to the judges and the audience. On the same evening, the hair sponsors of Miss England Great Lengths also held their Great Lengths Stunning Style Queen Hair Show and videos of the top twenty in the Talent Round were shown on the big screen. In addition, the top 5 for the talent round showcased their skills on stage!
Miss 24 Carat and Hair Beauty Holly Lyon in her 100% hair dress. It attracted attention from the national media!

Entries made after the closing time will not be entered into the competition but may still be charged.
2. Method and Cost of Entry:

Beach Beauty is the swimwear round in Miss England & is held as a photoshoot as one of the qualifying rounds between the 60 national finalists.
Just twelve contestants will be selected from the finalists online portfolio's , with just one winner being fast tracked through to the final 15. The Beach Beauty winner will also win a trip to Mauritius , even if she is not crowned Miss England !

Twelve Miss England finalists will be invited to model swimwear in the Beach Beauty round of Miss England 2013 by top photographer Alan Strutt & the Miss England office .
Alize Lily Mounter ,is the most successful Miss England since the 90's! Alize won Miss Everymodel Magazine initially then won Miss England 2011, Miss United Kingdom and Beach Beauty in Miss World 2011 . Alize will be directing a special shoot in Torquay for the Miss Beach Beauty 2013 award part of the Miss England competiton this year!
The Miss England office & Alan Strutt will be choosing just 12 girls from all the national finalists to be part of the Miss Beach Beauty award. The 12 finalists will then be invited to stay at the Imperial Hotel, Torquay and have a wonderful experience on Triple 777 a luxury yacht & have the luxury of dining at the Marina Restaurant during the stay on June 2nd .
Alan Strutt who has photographed the likes of Madonna, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and many more international celebrities! The finalists will also get the amazing opportunity to model the latest collection of red and white swimwear designed by Sandstorm ! The shoot will take place on the beautiful shores of Torquay on June 3rd 2013. There will also be a shoot at the Steam Railway and Riverboat Company on ther UK's only Paddle Steamer & on the luxury boat Triple 777 along with a press call on Torquay beach .
