The Finals
Miss England 2008 will be held at the Troxy, a stunning art deco venue in the Docklands, London. 50 regional heat winners will compete for the national title in a two day event, culminating with the final which takes place on the 18th July. The winner will be crowned and go on to represent England in Miss World in Kiev Ukraine which has a first prize of $100,000.
The host hotel for the Miss England event is the Crown Plaza, Docklands.
The competition commences on the 17th with a talent contest, in which contestants have the chance to impress the judges with an individual skill, The winner will be fast tracked through to the final 20 on the 18th.
Miss England 2007 Georgia Horsley will be hosting the show with Kate Solomons the Miss England 2004 runner up. The grand final promises to be an entertaining event featuring dancers and a celebrity judging panel Including once again Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain.
To enter Miss England 2008 one must first win a heat listed here or on our website regional heats page or be selected as a photo winner by the Miss England office. If you wish to enter a live heat, please contact the organiser in the area you want to enter.
You will then qualify for either the semi final held at Champneys Springs on the 16th & 17th June or the grand final depending on the type of heat being held.
From the semi-final 10 girls will qualify for the national final.The grand final of Miss England will be held in London July 18th 2008 the www.troxy.co.uk . More heats may be featured on the website.
