"There are many successful organisers running Miss England heats , and its been difficult to select the 2006/7 winner , but ive decided that this years award goes to the organisers of Miss Herfordshire, Rhona & Sue for their dedication and hard work. Miss Hertfordshire attracted hundreds of entrants down to their good pr skills and the winner even appeared in a newspaper in New York! The contest was very successful and had a great crowd at the event and they run the contest fully in accordance to Miss England guidlines, so well done Rhona and Sue, you have both won a well deserved 2 night break at Champneys!

Rhona says '"We measure how successful our heats are by how much the contestants who take part enjoy their Miss England regional heat experience.

We are lucky to have a dedicated team of helpers on the day who are all vital to the smooth running of the preparations and the performance.

We dedicate a lot of time in keeping in constant contact with the contestants and their families to help with any queries and concerns that they may have and in co-ordinating our sponsors and keeping them informed and updated so they are clear about their involvement and benefits of being involved.

We also lay great importance on thanking all our contributors after the event and making sure they feel valued.

We are always aware of following the Miss World / Miss England ethos of Beauty with a Purpose so we are proud of the tens of thousands of pounds that our events have raised for charity, contributing to the hundreds of thousands raised through Miss England competitions each year."

If you are a former contestant or have experience running fashion shows or work in PR, marketing or entertainments or promotions and advertising we would be interested in hearing from you.
