Miss Northampton 2012: Public Vote
The public vote for this heat will start on FRIDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 2012 at 12.00noon and will finish on WEDNESDAY 29TH FEBRUARY 2012 at 12.00noon.

- The public vote will help select 10 girls who will advance through to the final round. 2 more girls will be chosen as wildcards to compete in the final round of Miss Northampton 2012.
The winner of Miss Northampton 2012 will receive a place in the Miss England Semi Final!
The final round of Miss Northampton 2012 will be held on Sunday 11th March at the Park Inn by Radisson Northampton

The Miss Northampton 2012 heat is in support of Miss World's 'Beauty with a Purpose'
COMPETITION FORMAT
- All selected entrants will compete in an online heat held on this web page. The online heat that includes a public vote. This will last around 4 weeks.
- The public vote will be held from Friday 3rd February 2012 and will last until Wednesday 29th February 2012. The public will help decide on the top 10 girls who will go through to the final round of Miss Northampton. In addition, a judging panel will also choose 2 wildcards who will go through to the final round. The chosen finalists will compete in the live final round of Miss Northampton 2012. This will be in the form of a heat presentation and will be held on Sunday 11th March at the Park Inn by Radisson Northampton.
- In the final round of Miss Northampton 2012, all finalists will be expected to be in eco wear (an outfit that is either created from recycled materials, borrowed from friends or relatives or bought from a charity shop) as the Miss England competition are supporters of sustainable fashion. The finalists will also be interviewed in front of a judging panel as well as in front of an audience.
- All finalists will be expected to fundraise as much as they can for our chosen charity: Miss World Beauty with a Purpose

- There are 2 semi final places up for grabs! From the live presentation, the winner of Miss Northampton and the top fundraiser will go through to the Miss England Semi Final, which will be held on Wednesday 30th May 2012 at Champneys Springs, Leicstershire.

To vote for your chosen contestant by phone
You must dial 0901 307 1036 and then enter the unique personal two digit code when prompted (shown below the contestant's photo).
Problems with Voting?
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Winning the public vote will not guarantee winning the overall competition
- Votes can only be made within the UK
- Each person can only make a maximum of 10 votes on a daily basis
- All voters must be over 18 AND have the bill payer's permission
- Votes cast outside of the allotted period will not be counted but you may still be charged
- In the event of a tie in the public vote, the judges decision will be final

The winner of Miss Northampton 2011 was Gabriella Wilmore

Gabriella is 22 years old and is currently a Pharmacy Business Manager. Gabriella also models part time and organise events in Northampton. Whilst competing in the Miss Northampton 2011 heat, she and the rest of the contestants had to organise charity events. She and another contestant raised over £1300 for the cause and had a great night! Gabriella graduated from Loughborough University during her reign as Miss Northampton 2011. She is particularly pleased with winning the title of Miss. Northampton 2011 as winning the title has certainly helped her in her current implementing of mentoring schemes within schools across Northamptonshire and is now qualified to teach others how to become peer mentors. Gabriella has also hosted, attended and given speeches at many charity events and business openings around Northampton.
Gabriella said "I am thoroughly enjoying my title of Miss Northampton 2011 and wish every success for Miss Northampton 2012!"
