Miss Devon 2009 is Leah Welch!
The judges voted Leah Welch as the winner of Miss Devon 2009 at the final of the competition held at The Arena nightclub on Friday 6th March
Tori Roper won the public vote and also managed to raise £200 for the National Autistic Society, which gains her a place in the Miss England semi final being held at Champneys Springs on June 8th . This meant the judges had to decide who the extra place went to for the semi final.

In the end , judges decided that Vicki Omlo (pictured left) deserved to go forward to the Miss England semi final. Marks were awarded on the night by a professional judging panel which included Nadine Hillman Miss Exeter 2008 the National Autictic Society and a professional photographer Terry Barnecutt.
The judges and organisers would like to thank all the girls for taking part in the event.

Three places in the Miss England contest was won - two semi final places and one national final place!
VOTING LINES ARE NOW CLOSED.
The contestant who received the most public votes will be fast tracked through the semi final of Miss England.
Contestants were invited to the final judging round which will be held in Devon on Friday 6th March at the Arena and the public vote will be added to the judges scores to choose the winner of Miss Devon who will go forward to the national final of Miss England.
All contestants are also being given a fund raising task by the THE NATIONAL AUTISTIC SOCIETY to raise funds and awareness for the charity. The contestant raising the most funds will also be fast tracked through the semi final of Miss England held at Champneys Springs in June 09.
The winner of the Miss Devon title will receive:
Direct entry to the Miss England 2009 final to be held in July 09
an evening gown from Marcelane
an Aguaclara bikini at the Miss England final worth £50
and a Carlton beauty case
