The organisers of the Miss Cornwall pageant have to announce that the recently crowned Miss Cornwall 2010 "Laura Anness" has been stripped of her title.
Miss Anness was due to represent Cornwall in the Miss England final on 31st august & 1st September at the NEC Hilton Birmingham Metropole. She was found to be above the age limit of 24 by 3 years.
Laura clearly stated on entry to the contest that she was 22
Therefore the title & place in the Miss England final goes to Samantha Orpe who be crowned week commencing 28th June

The public vote for Miss Cornwall will start on Wednesday 12th May at 9.00am
and will finish on Friday 11th June at 10.30pm

The final round of Miss Cornwall 2010 will be held at Berties on Friday 11th June
The winner of Miss Cornwall will go through to the national final of Miss England 2010
