Kirsty Bentley is crowned Miss Cambridgeshire 2013
The winner of Miss Cambridgeshire 2013 has finally been revealed at a glamorous charity ball held by The Highfield Event Group Ltd and White Tie and Diamond Parties at The Dullingham Polo Club last Saturday 20th October after much anticipation.
Fighting off stiff competition from 11 other contestants, Kirsty Bentley was crowned as this year's winner and will now go on to the Grand Final of Miss England on 13th - 16th June 2013.
Judged by celebrity guest Mark Wright, famed for his role in The Only Way Is Essex and I'm A Celebrity, alongside Miss London and professional model Amy Willerton, representative of Sandra Reynolds Model Agency Rachel McGuiness, Velvet Magazine Editor Georgie Campbell and Venus Hair and Beauty founder Richard Goss, the not for profit event proved to be a well attended evening.
Raising over £10,000 for the Miss World charity, Beauty With A Purpose, the organisers behind the event, White Tie and Diamond Parties and The Highfield Event Group Ltd, could not have been more thrilled with the evening.
"We have been overwhelmed by all the lovely notes of congratulations we have received following our first White Tie and Diamond's Ball on Saturday night," revealed Director Claire Chapman. "The evening went better than we ever expected and we are very excited to start planning the next one!"
Hosting three catwalk events throughout the luxurious evening, the Miss Cambridgeshire contestants were judged on their confidence, beauty of the face and overall style on the evening, before the winner was announced. Also taking the Miss Cambridgeshire 2013 Beauty With A Purpose title for the contestant who raised the most money across the months prior, Kirsty certainly proved her worth.
Talking about the wonderful enthusiasm and dedication shown by all the contestants, White Tie and Diamonds Director Claire Chapman said: "All of the Miss Cambridgeshire contestants were incredible and the male models who donated their time free of charge in aid of charity did us all very proud.
"We wish Miss Kirsty Bentley all the very best of luck in the National Final for Miss England in 2013 and we look forward to welcoming all of you at our next evening in 2013."
