The winner of the Miss Shropshire 2011: Public vote was Chetna
Almost £2000 was raised by the finalists of Miss Shropshire for Gracie's Fund which was set up by a Shrewsbury mother, Rachel Benson in memory of her baby daughter Grace who died of cancer aged just over 1 year old. £630 of the total was raised by one finalist who won the title of Miss Charity Shropshire Chetna Vadukul, a 24 year old Account Manger from Telford

However the winner of the public vote will qualify for the Miss Popularity round of the Miss England
and gain another chance of getting through to the Miss England final, should she not win the Miss Shropshire heat
Highlights of Miss Shropshire 2009
The winner of Miss Shropshire 2009 is Kerry Price (pictured centre). 1st runner up was Teri Kempton & 2nd runner up was Lucy Westley. The winner of the public vote is Sarah Jane Howard who was crowned Miss Popularity and now goes forward to the Miss Popularity round on the website. The contestants raised just over £1450.00 for the National Autistic Society . The contestant raising the most funds was Layla Weirowski who was crowned Miss Charity Shropshire.

Miss Shropshire was held at Bada Bing on Sunday 1st March 2009
The top 10 were: Sarah Jane Howard , Claire Wassell , Jenna Howes , Kerry Price , Rebecca Bailey , Layla Weirowski, Lucy Westley , Kayleigh Bould , Hollie Copsey, Teri Kempton.
The winner was chosen by a panel of judges including Laura Coleman Miss England and was presented with the Miss Shropshire 2009 crown and sash.
Please note that the winner of the public vote (if she is not chosen as the overall winner of the contest) will be presented with a sash and crown and win the title of 'Miss Popularity Shropshire' and will then go forward to the Miss Popularity round for another chance of winning and going on to the next stage of the Miss England contest.
