Miss Northampton 2009
Miss Northampton 2009 is organised by Rhona Shafik
The winner of Miss Northampton 2009 was Laura Brown!
Laura (centre) went through to the semi-final of Miss England 2009 held at Champneys Springs on Monday 8th June!
1st Runner Up was Melissa Mudge (FAR RIGHT) and 2nd Runner was Nadina Knight (FAR LEFT)
Miss Charity was Shannon Wright (second from left) who raised over £600 for NAS!
Miss Popularity for Northampton was Lauren Jackson (second from right)
There was a tie in 3rd place and it was decided that instead of 10 girls, there will now be 11 going through to the final judging round!

The finalists will take part in a public vote and the TOP TEN will be invited to take part in
a final judging round where judges will decide the winner of Miss Northampton 2009.
The winner of Miss Northampton will qualify for the Semi-finals at Champneys in June.
Lines opened at 9.00am on Thursday 7th May and will remained open
until 12.00 noon on Wednesday 20th May when the voting continued
for the TOP ELEVEN ONLY until 12.00noon Bank Holiday Monday 25th May - the day of the final.
All votes costs 60p plus standard network charge if voting by mobile.
REMEMBER: Votes made before or after this contest will not be counted for but you may still be charged!

Please note that winning the public vote will not guarantee winning the title Miss Northampton. The public will act as one judge.
The contestant winning the public vote on the day of the final will receive a sash and crown and the title Miss Popularity Northampton and she will automatically be fast tracked through to the Miss Popularity heat , which is a national Miss England qualifying round for a chance to secure a place in the Miss England Grand Final (should she not win the overall Miss Northampton title)
