Cally is Miss Hull & District 2011

Cally beat of competition from 20 other stunning finalists from Hull and the surrounding areas. The Grand final was held at The Country Park Inn on Friday Night. The Girls competed in 4 rounds. An Interview before the show, 3 catwalk rounds including a little black dress round, Eco wear and Traditional evening wear. All the contestants were set a challenge to create an out fit using recyclable materials (Eco wear) the winner was crowned Miss Eco Hull. The winner of Miss Eco was Cally Beech She Said " As I only found out a few days before the pageant I was competing things were crazy sewing and sticking in my house. I ended up making a dress using dish cloths! I was very surprised to win but thrilled at the same time!"
2nd Place on the night went to Jessie Palmer.
3rd place went to Lucy Dunhill a medical student from Welton.
The contestants raised £1900 for the Pageants chosen charity the Joshua Foundation, a charity for children with terminal cancer. The award for Miss charity Hull went to Sarah Pringle, Sarah raised £300 for the charity by organizing a Charity Slave Auction and raffle night. (in the photo is Sarah pringle Miss Charity Hull and Sarah Cornelious Price from the Joshua Foundation, a charity for children with terminal Cancer.
Miss Hull and District 2011 Public Vote
The public vote for Miss Hull and District has now finished
Jessie took the Miss Popularity award winning the text vote portion of the competition. She will now compete against all the other popularity winners from the other Regional heats around England.

All applicants attended a mini photo shoot / audition with the events photographer John Denton
and then have a short informal interview with the organiser, Emma Jane and the judges.

Rosie Madison
One half of 96.9 Viking FM's Paul Foster Breakfast Show, Rosie is to Paul what Posh is to Becks, without the attitude!
Rosie drags herself out of bed at 4.00 am every day before heading in to the studio with Paul.
Rosie has worked at various radio stations, before landing what she says is her 'dream job' working for Viking FM.
She gets to chat to some of the biggest artists and celebs as well as hosting the biggest events such as Freedom Festival and Brid Bash.

Miss Hull and District 2009, Hannah Rowe
Hannah Rowe, Miss Hull and District 2009 will also be judging the event.
Hannah made it to the semi finals of Miss England and had the time of her life. After been priviledged to win Miss Hull and District 2009/10 and also Miss Eco 2009/10 she have had a whirl wind year which has been fabulous. She have attended events and shoots which has only been possible thanks to the Miss England organisation. I have modeled for The National Lottery, was involved in the Christmas lights ‘switch on' where she was honored to meet the celebrity artists, appeared on T.V on numerous occasions and modeled for bridal events and local business's just to name a few. Hannah have even hosted my own Mr Bridlington as a fun night to raise money towards the Miss England Organisations charity (at the time cystic fibrosis)
Jill Campbell
Jill works full time as a learning Organising, but also do some tutoring relating to employment law. She works with the working class people who want to develop their skills in literacy and numeracy, ICT to increase their employability and prospects of promotion or career change. Her work can be very challenging but also very rewarding. Jill works all over the country, and have been privileged to work with people from a variety of different back grounds and cultures. Her aim is to promote equal opportunities' for all.
