The winner of Miss Harrogate and District is Alexandra Devine who has won a place in the Miss England Semi Final which will take place on Monday 13th June at Champneys Springs, Leicestershire. The Miss Harrogate competition was organised by Vivienne Edge

The final was held at the Harrogate Theatre where 10 finalists competed in the grand final to win the title of Miss harrogate 2011. The 3 judges Denise from PinkDotty.com, Anthony from Hollyoaks (aka gilly) and Alex from strictlydresses.com saw the girls participate in 5 rounds, charity, popularity, evening wear, eco wear and talent. For the charity round the finalists raised over £1700.00 for the Harrogate Theatre renovation. Alexandra as well as receiving a modelling portfolio from Denton Photography, a £250.00 cash prize donated from Victoria Shopping Centre and a bespoke evening dress made by strictlydresses.com will also be going through to the Miss England Semi finals which take place on June the 13th at Champney's Spa. Lucinda Lewis was 1st runner up and Christie-Lauren Waite came 2nd runner up.

The winner of the Harrogate and District Public Vote was 13Lucinda who now has a place in the online popularity round - An exclusive heat for popularity winner for another chance to advance further in the Miss England Competition.

An audition took place on Saturday 19th March at Revolution Harrogate
