Miss World, Ksenia Sukhinova was the Guest of Honour.

53 outstanding and beautiful grand finalists took to the stage at the hotel and throughout the night wowed the dining audience.

All of the girls wore elegant and esquisite evening dresses with the Mr. England contenders escorting the girls down the runway.

They also modelled some of the extremely bright and creative student fashion design clothing during the student design round.

In addition, the girls had to put their thinking caps on to come up with a 70s inspired eco theme outfit which they showed on the night!

15 girls were put through to the final stage including 8 who won various awards, including Rachel Christie who won the Helen E Cosmetic Award

... and for the top 15, the swimwear round modelling Caprice's 'by Caprice' swimwear!

The night was also graced with classy entertainment, soprano singer Lucy Rhodes

and stunning X-factor finalist Laura White.

Miss England 2008 and was one of the judges, Laura Coleman during this glitzy evening handed over her crown to Rachel.

Pictured from the far left is 2nd runner up was Miss Leeds, Viki Bailey. Rachel Christie who was crowned Miss England on the night. Finally we have on the far right is 1st Runner Up Miss Everymodel, Kat Hodge!

2nd runner up Viki Bailey is hoping to break into the acting industry had been running her own beauty business for the last two years and holds a drama degree! Viki Bailey entrepreneurial skills and looks made her a top candidate.

1st runner up Kat Hodge from Tunbridge Wells has already served our country in Iraq and won a bravery award whilst serving there. Kat not only won the talent round for submitting her entry on her life and role as a soldier but she also won the student fashion design award!

We also had the Mr. England contest on the night whom the winner of Mr. Rugby, Andreas Kattou won the title by the audience vote by his interview and evening wear round!

He will go on to compete in the next Mr. World final!

Pictured left is winner of Mr. England, Andreas Kattou, in second place is Chris Mulvaney and in third place is Hare Dhami. The tough group of 12 contenders were wittled down to 3 by the public vote and judges by which the 3 came down to the London Hilton Metropole to battle for the trophy and title!
