Alan Strutt: Celebrity Photographer

Alan Strutt is one of the industry's finest celebrity photographers with experience spanning over 25 years.

Amanda Bradwell: Director of "The Eternity Group"

Amanda started her career as a model working all over Europe. She was House model for brands such as Pepe Jeans and Pretty Polly tights. She set-up her first company "Funky Junk" aged 23, importing/exporting goods in Cyprus.

Moving to London she became Sales Director for a London fashion House; then was approached by 2 New York Companies to set-up their European Operations, one being a Nasdaq company. After creating great success for companies, she and husband Andrew set-up Eternity Bridal Ltd. Patrick Stapleton - General Manager of Hilton Birmingham Metropole

Patrick Stapleton has been a part of the hospitality industry for most of his adult life. Inspired as a child by the inner workings of hotels, after a visit to the Slieve Donnard hotel in County Down, Patrick has always had hospitality running through his veins

After graduating from the Dublin Institute of Technology where he studied hotel management and business; his career has taken him to many cities working in hotels of different sizes and with different challenges. From London to Blackpool; Patrick has been motivated by a passion for both change and success.

Patrick moved to the 790 bedroom, 33 meeting room Hilton Birmingham Metropole in August 2008 and lives locally to the hotel. He views Birmingham as his home away from home and enjoys the challenge of running the largest UK residential conference hotel outside of London. In the last three years we have spent £10 million on the property, it looks fantastic,

In his spare time, Patrick is an active member of the Magic Circle and father to two children.

 

Lady Angie Sinclair - Beauty Queen, Model and wife of Sir Clive Sinclair

Angie's career started at the age of 17 when her mum entered her into the Miss Nottingham competition. To her surprise she won and the following year she also won the Miss Sheffield and Miss England titles back in the 90s. She moved to London and began a career in modelling after being scouted at the final by a top London agent. Angie won commercials and campaigns for Thomson holidays, British Telecom, Pizza Hut, FHM, Grolsch Beer, Japanese Vogue, Arena magazine, Triumph lingerie, Playboy lingerie and Speedo swimwear to name a few as well as appearing regularly in the daily star newspaper and was named 'the body' by the readers.

As a beauty queen and model Angie has travelled the world and fulfilled many of her ambitions and dreams- she has lived in Los Angeles and Cape Town. Angie recently married her partner inventor of the pocket calculator and first home computer Sir Clive Sinclair. Since becoming Lady Sinclair, Angie has started her own company and has been working on and developing her own miniature make-up range as well as appearing regularly in the press, whilst raising her 12 year old son Marcus (who was the birds eye fish finger boy in commercials nationwide). She currently resides in London and Nottinghamshire and still has many ambitions for the future. She says "my life and career really started when I first got involved in beauty competitions. They were some of the best times of my life and I made some life long friends, being Miss England my life was taken onto a different path and I will be forever thankful"

 

Ryan Thomas - Coronation Street Soapstar

Ryan Thomas is best known for playing the much loved character Jason Grimshaw, in ITV's Coronation Street.

This was Ryan's first TV role, appearing in his first episode on Christmas Day 2000. 2010 is a special year for Ryan; with the whole cast past and present celebrating 50 Years of Corrie; Ryan himself is celebrating a decade in the street!

He has been involved with various charities across the NW and on a National Scale. He has supported Variety Club for a number of years and he hopes you will all give generously tonight. Ryan is extremely proud to be judging Miss England 2010, he wishes all the girls the very best of luck.

"They are all winners" Ryan loves being with his little girl Scarlett when he is not working and hopes he can be in Corrie when they are celebrating their 60th

 

Mike Cohen - Founder of Bellagio Time

Terri and Martin Cody-Owen: Publisher of World Titles

terrimartincodyowenjudge.jpg Terri Cody-Owen started life in Yorkshire, winning the Miss Harrogate title in the early 1980s before moving to London to pursue a career as a photographic model and actress. She played in TV and films including Minder, The Bill, Terry & June and Rising Damp. She went on to present beauty products on QVC before returning to university to train as a broadcast and print journalist.

After working as a reporter for Yorkshire Evening Post and Stray FM radio, She went on to become editor of easyJet inflight magaasizne for several years before meeting up and marrying business partner Martin Cody-Owen. Together they created World Titles Publishing company, which now produces a number of popular magazine titles including Spa World and Worldwide Weddings & Honeymoons, both edited by Terri.

Martin Cody-Owen is a serial entrpreneur, property investor and publisher.

Originally from Liverpool, he studied for a Law degree at Lady Spencer Churchill College, Oxford but instead of a legal career he founded a successful advertising and marketing agency specializing in the commercial property industry where he helped leading organisations achieve planning permission on schemes worth more than £1 billion.

He also built up his own personal property portfolio and stilll has extensive property interests in Yorkshire. Martin met his wife Terri at a charity event he organized in Leeds, in his capacity as Press officer for the Variety Club of Great Britain. Together Martin and Terri pooled their expertise and created World Titles, a publishing company producing magazine titles including Spa World the Uk's leading magazine devoted to luxury travel, spas and wellness. They also produce Worldwide Weddings & Honeymoons magazine for couples looking for a destination wedding or dream honeymoon.

Terri and Martin Cody-Owen will act as one judge.


Danielle Lloyd: Model and Miss England 2004

Danielle Lloyd was first thrust in to the media spotlight in 2004, winning Miss England. For the next two years she competed in, and won, numerous beauty pageants all over the world, as well as undertaking numerous magazine photoshoots. In 2007 Danielle appeared on Celebrity Big Brother (Channel 4). In one of the most controversial television shows in British history, Danielle became a household name.

Throughout 2007, Danielle appeared on numerous television shows including The Weakest Link (BBC1), Brainiac (Sky One), My Body Hell (Channel 5), My Super Sweet 16 (MTV One), WAGS World (Wedding TV), An Audience With Al Murray (ITV1), Katie & Peter Unleashed (ITV2). Also in 2007, Danielle brought out a fitness DVD (Target) and undertook numerous magazine and newspaper cover shoots including Maxim, Loaded, The Daily Star, OK and Heat Magazine.

 

 

Angie Beasley: Director of Miss England (and chairwoman of the judges)

Angie Beasley (formerly Chapman) has been in the Beauty Contest business since 1981 winning 25 regional titles in the 1980s. She first started organising competitions in 1988 when she became a promotions manager for Mecca Leisure in Leeds and held her first heat for Miss World 1989. During the 1990s Angie worked for three years for the late" Eric Morley", the owner of Miss World organising the Miss United Kingdom competition for entry to Miss World and many national competitions for men and women including Miss Wales, Miss Scotland and hundreds of regional events. In the year 2000, Miss World decided to split the UK up in to four countries giving 4 girls the chance to go forward to Miss World instead of one, and Angie is now the Director of Miss England Limited.
