Kat Hodge is officially crowned as Miss England
Katrina Hodge finally received her long awaited Miss England crown on Monday 25th January at the Manor House Hotel in Guildford at a special crowning ceremony.
The soprano soloist Lucy Rhodes, who was the BBC Choir girl of the year in 2008 sang "Hallelujah" at the event as Katrina was crowned by Laura Coleman, Miss England 2008
"Im so proud to be Miss England, I want to use the title to promote the forces" said Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge who has now been given 6 months leave as a soldier to be Miss England.
Katrina was presented with her sash and a £22,500 contract from Mark Wickenden, director of Uniform Dating.com for Katrina to be the face of the company for the coming year.
Katrina wore the beautiful red sequin gown designed by Tiffany Prom for the crowning and appeared in various national newspapers during the following week.
