Miss Nottingham Jessica Linley (contestant 19) is crowned as Miss England 2010!
She will represent England in the 60th Miss World to be held in Sanya, China!

The Mr and Miss England contest was held as a two day event at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole
on Tues 31st August and Weds 1st September.

The Public Vote will started on Friday 30th July at 12.00noon and finished on Wednesday 1st September at 6.00pm
which fast tracked ONE finalist in to the top 20 as the public vote winner.

Achievements	My most recent achievement is winning the Miss PharmaClinix competition. I was delighted to be crowned Miss PharmaClinix, chosen from 250 other contestants. I believe I won this competition because of my cosmopolitan looks, my confident body language and my ability to interact with the audience. I am currently studying Performing Arts at De Montfort University having just finished my first year. I studied Dance, Music and Drama at A-Level and gained a distinction in Performing Arts which then propelled me into my University studies. I have been a photographic model for 3 years and appear regularly in a fashion magazine. This helped to build my confidence with my modelling, and led to the opportunity of the PharmaClinix competition – my first such competition. (Apart from winning an ‘Angel Eyes’ contest when I was four!!)
Talents	My confidence and extrovert personality has enabled me to broaden my love of dance and drama. I feel this is where my main talents lie. I have studied dance since I was 14 and drama since I was 11. I have skills in ballet, jazz, contemporary and street dance. I also love playing the saxophone and the piano when I’m not at Uni or working. I feel balancing my priorities of family, friends, work, university and modelling is a strong talent of mine.
Ambitions	My ambition is to graduate University with a first class honours degree. I then intend to use the skills and knowledge gained from this, to run my own dance company with my four sisters. It is my ambition to teach young children how to express their creative personalities through various styles of dance, which is why I am particularly pleased that Miss England is sponsoring The Variety Club this year and I have the opportunity to raise awareness of this exceptional charity. I am also looking forward to my year representing the PharmaClinix skin care brand. I am motivated, determined and work hard to make my ambitions a reality.
