Achievements

Life to me is about experience and I try and live by the rule of work hard play hard. Since the earliest I was able, I have been employed, with the will of if you want something you have to go and get it and thats exactly what I have done ever since. I happily graduated last year achieving a respectable 2:1 in Fine Art and have been working on my main career goal as a Conceptual Artist, publicly exhibiting my work nationally, from Performance based to Print work dealing with issues of Human Persona, Media Fabrication and Feminism. I also work as a Secondary School Teacher, mainly in the Special Needs sector, this part of my life is extremely enjoyable, and I have much interest in taking this further working in Arts for Health. Events is another area I work in and have done for a long time, I'm currently employed by Monster as a brand representative, and have been fortunate enough to travel with this role and get involved in many major events of Extreme Sports, Music and Culture which I have undoubtedly had an amazing time doing! Modeling was something I became involved in after I won a place in my First Local Pageant at 16, as I was always the typical independent creative type, modeling and promotions taught me the importance of self respect and wellbeing, while giving me the different kind of confidence that I needed to mature into a respectable young lady. I am still much involved in the industry and continue to work hard to maintain a good reputation that has taken me all across the UK and as far as Africa and Dubai. As my interest of well-being developed I was accepted on a work experience course at the prestigious Greasepaint Makeup school, I went on to work Part time, as a cover Make up Artist for top Brands such as Christian Dior and Giorgio Armani, I then went on to work as a Skin Care Consultant for Crème de la Mer, during this time I learned so much in terms of health and beauty, I now use as many Natural Based products as I can and support the PETA.

Talents

As my passion is Fine Art I am skilled in many areas, From Photography and Video taking and Manipulation to Drawing and Painting. I have grown up with a strong hobby of Drama and Dance, I am well trained in Latin American, Ballroom, Street and Belly dancing, all of which I have received numerous awards and trophies for. I have toured UK festivals Face Painting with an Independent Stall, I also Face Paint for Charity and Corporate Events. I am also experienced in Makeup and Beauty Therapy.

Ambitions

I'm passionate about many things one of which is Conceptual Art, using it simply as an innovative communication method it allows me to de-construct issues/concerns/realities, allowing viewers to re-evaluate their thoughts and opinions, this tool will inevitably combine with issues that I personally feel strongly about, my goal is to maintain effective artwork that will be recognized and as a result become my main career. Currently I am looking to take on an Art Residency abroad, my Ideal choice is Tokyo, but I am willing to take this on any were as I also aim to see the world as much as possible. I want to learn more about Mental Health and continue to teach within SEN, and get actively involved in issues concerning integration of those with Special Needs into society. I have looked into programs of teaching in South America which is of particular interest as I'm currently learning the Spanish, as a result of my mixed ethnic background. I am extremely ambitious and have always led a fully packed and exciting life which I aim to continue, maintaining the following approaches to life of always keeping a positive attitude, seeing myself as an open book, constantly learning and absorbing the world, I believe in treating your body, your surroundings and others with respect. Striving to take the best out of every opportunity I believe that what you put into life is what you get out of it.
