Achievements

I have achieved a number of things in my life such as finishing school with good grades, which has created a number of paths for me, also being fortunate enough to experience some fantastic countries, whilst visiting Australia I had the opportunity to Skydive from 14,000ft, which for someone who’s not fond of heights, was a real achievement for me. And whilst in Florida Keys I was unfortunate enough to be trapped in a hurricane which meant most people evacuated, however I felt the need to stay and witnessed the overwhelming strengths of Mother Nature. I knew I’d be safe where I was and I just had to see it, it truly was an unbelievable experience that blew me away…literally! One of my biggest achievements has got to be winning Miss Shropshire 2009 and being given the opportunity to represent my home county in the 2009 Miss England final. I have so enjoyed my time spent as the reigning Miss Shropshire and will be very sad to pass I on, I have been so honoured to represent my home county, I have had a rollercoaster of a year and I have worked extremely hard promoting myself, and helping my community and charities, its not often your given an opportunity like this and I have tried to make the most of it, I’ve had some fantastic experiences and met some wonderful people along the way, and it will be something I will never forget.

Talents

I can honestly say I don\'t possess a singing voice of Leona Lewis, nor can I wow you with an array of dance moves that would knock your socks off...But one thing I can do is cook! Or so ive been told that is, I believe cooking is an important asset to posses and can be something you are able to experiment with and be a great way to bring the whole family together. However if your not hungry I can make a classic chicken out a tea towel, that always gets a few laughs at dinner parties, and have a fun card trick ive mastered. Ive always enjoyed taking part in various sporting activities like netball, rounder’s, plus im not a bad little pool player either.

Ambitions

Sadly my father passed away when I was only 17, there’s not one day that goes by that I don’t think of him and even though our years together were short, he made the biggest impact on my life that will stay with me forever, he made me appreciate everything I have and to make the most of every opportunity, to really enjoy life and live it to the fullest, I think he would be very proud of what I have achieved, my ambition would be to continue living life to the full, its sad to think it takes something like that to happen to make you realise but im excited about my future there are so many things I would like to do, even though my reign will be coming to an end soon, I still wish to help the community, its something I enjoying being a part of. As im now 23 it would be my last chance to enter, so getting the opportunity to compete for the Miss England crown for a second year really would mean the world to me, I have so much to give and believe I can make a difference.
